    It's a programming limitation. Only two beers on the bar at a time. It remembers if you pressed the button to serve another one, so you'll throw a second one super late, once they drink it or you catch one.

     

    You can limit this by walking forward to catch, before throwing another one.

     

    A trick I like to do, is to walk forward as soon as you throw a beer. They will 100% send it back at you. This will allow you to catch both easily, reset the throw count, press the button and serve them again.
