  1. The tweakers/modifiers are few and far between. look at all the ebay auctions that they sell Atari's at. They barely play it, they have no reason to mod it. There is only a handful of modifiers compared to the rest of the atari world. And i'm sticking to my statement above. Unless the system has lost its value (heavy sixer with sunnydale ca sticker missing, plastic damaged to beyond repair, any light sixer, any 4 switch, any jr.) mod it! You don't know what you are missing until you plug in Pitfall 2 and hear perfect sound, and see Pitfall Harry perfect on the screen. As the ages go by, older technology gets less and less quality (the rf on new tv's.) sure it looked great when the atari came out but everyone was concentrated on that rf signal. nowadays, people are going to cheaper and cheaper parts to make the tv's, to get more of a profit. So, no matter what, less quality unless you are still using a really old TV. Thats why we mod it, so we can play on a better and cleaner picture, and the atari can support more tv's.
  2. If they make the PSTwo like they did the PSone, it should easily be made to be portable. Hmm... Here's an idea. Be able to use the PSOne mini screen on the PSTwo. How cool would that be?
  3. Wow, it looks like the one day we all didn't shop on ebay, that comes up. figures...
  4. Here are some great imports (I should know, i live here for the time being) Rockman collector's edition: Rockman 1-6 got released on seperate disks, and each one has tons of extras like, the life bars look like the SNES version of rockman, a feature for the ones that need help, remember the alerts that came in the later version of megaman? those are an option, as well as saving the games to memory card. Another import is Dragonball Final Bout. Its so much better than the american version, and its easy as hell to find too. I seen but didn't buy a copy of ZanacXZanac, i didn't see a reason to... but now i do. DOH! Not to mention that they released 7 DDR mixes to psone while in the states they'res only 3... DDR 1st-5th mix, best hits, disney, and one more... i forgot.
  5. Is it me or does the pac-man collection for the GBA, the original plays like crap, like the ghosts are too smart... its like once one sees you, they all trap you. Same for Ms. Pac-man for namco museum for gba.
  6. I remember that thing like yesterday... the controller had fire buttons on the side, 2 i believe. You used the keypad to type in the game you wanted, each cart had like 4 or 5 games and you typed in the game and variation you wanted, the screen was black and green, then you went to playing the game. damn that was a long time ago, like when i was 4 or 5. I'm suprised i remembered it, and that one of you guys recovered it. The thing was a nice little system, and if i recall the system had built in games also.
  7. OMG That's what that is! I used to have one and its been bugging me forever what the hell it was. I used to have like 5 or so games, including a good space invaders clone, it was a extra long cartridge. NOW i can get it again, thanks!!!!!!!!!!
  8. Just got a tip for you guys. As soon as you get the key use your teleport. Usually when you get the key there will be at least 1 or 2 zot's around, so to save your butt, as soon as you get the key, teleport.
  9. What version are you referring to? NES? Isn't there a "proper" ending in the arcade version? NES version, never played the arcade version. Oh for those that go to LAN parties, I found the most fun in when a good friend of mine asked me if i was interested in playing bubble bobble over the network. Needless to say, i found that better than far cry =D
  10. There's Tron 2.0 for computer...
  11. Yea, they seem to guard the door and the key, only to be around those areas when you find them. This game does seem to have a bit more on the luck side. but yea, i might go at it one more time, but i doubt it. Kurushimi, you're awesome... lol.
  12. Got bored, tried it out again for a couple times, then ate some food and got a upset stomach so i'm done for today. here's my score: 12826
  13. I aint gonna get extreme for the US release, along with why i didn't get the US release for ddrmax2... i have the import versions, i had ddr extreme since september when it came out
  14. I just started playing it again, i seen one of those doors... you look at it and it gives you bonus points, then it kinda comes down how much balls you got. if you look at the map or turn away, the bonus stops. another words, stay there until you get scared to run away, or if you hear a zot.
  15. Holy crap... I think i'm done with this game, its really starting to fraustrate me... i might give it a few more tries but i think i'm done with it.
  16. the different stella chips? I noticed that those make a difference in modifying the atari, why not this
  17. Hmm... it rolls a little on my 6-switch but it works fine on my 4. go back to the 6, and same thing. Strange...
  18. Mine doesn't work right on my 6-switch, maybe that's why?! i'll give that a try... brb
  19. Its smoother, much better songs (xbox version is ddr songs but remixed and horrible steps), real songs compared to the arcade, its just overall better. definitely the ps2 version.
  20. Grrr.... yep they like to camp... Oh look here's the key! Oh LOOK! You're surrounded by 3 zot's! OK so you hold fire and teleport... guess where you go... in front of 2 zots! Hey look, there is the exit. Oh look! At least one Zot! Watch it guys, they love to camp.
  21. Is it me or do they like to camp by the exit on the later levels.... This level of the ghosts strangely reminds me of a certian game... *cough*counter-strike*cough*
  22. Anyone have a spare copy someone wants to sell to me? I really enjoy this game...
  23. Hehe... I got one, she doesn't play quake, she likes medal of honor, but still... that rocks... not only that but she wants to build her own computer, so i gotta save up some money and get her a gaming machine... lets see... amd 64 3200+ Shuttle, umm, I'm thinking geforce fx 5900XT, its nice and fast but cheap. Yea, that's about right, along with a gig of ram, she'll be building a nice little beast, literally. A 20 oz mountain dew bottle is taller than a shuttle.
