  1. "the ST Army of Two" -I love that!!! Your design and layout skills are legendary Darren. As always. Steve
  2. I googled upon this ... and was just about to reply and say how cool this web-tool is. And it is. But then I noticed the age of this posting and now wonder WHY nobody has replied! Wow Anyhow, this is amazing. I hope you continue dev - thank you! Steve
  3. I believe there are switch boxes but I'm not so sure about what you ask tbh. Sorry. I did buy two of their cables. The colour one I mentioned above and also a standard vga too, which does high res. Thinking about it, it would be great to have a little switch or something to force the ST to reboot into high <> low res... hmm
  4. I bought the Benq BL702A monitor. It's great but I get weird vertical lines during loading or when doing something heavy, like a demo or game. Wishing I could find a 14" CRT if I'm honest, one of the Atari or Philips monitors. A vga (for colour) is good but a CRT would be better overall (imho.) Cool Novelties have a colour vga cable: http://coolnovelties.co.uk/coolnovelties/atari-st-video-cables/290-atari-st-to-vga-multi-sync-rgb-colour-monitor-cable.html and I would always recommend Exxos who Android8675 mentions. :-) Steve
  5. Absolutely brilliant. Every Atari ST dude should take an hour out and listen to this. Going on iTunes now to rate........ Steve
  6. MIG 29 - Fulcrum ... maybe... probably... http://www.atarimania.com/game-atari-st-mig-29-fulcrum_9979.html
  7. I love me olde Atari ST ... well, all of them! Never owned an 8-bit Atari tbh. I find places like the groups on Facebook are best, along with others, like twitter to a point. Atari-Forum is a great place but it depends what you're looking for I guess? AtariAge always seems more for the older Atari's to me... Hey, there is also AtariCrypt too!
  8. Cool, lets check this out..... Steve
  9. Depends what you enjoy... Time Bandit? Check out my site also, perhaps there's something here which catches your eye? Enjoy Oids, it's awesome Steve
  10. Peter is right, TOS 1.4 is perfect and I personally found running most ST games works best (for me) using TOS 1.2 Check out here for a humble guide, there are pics to click on for the preferences : https://ataricrypt.blogspot.co.uk/2015/08/the-basics.html(also has links to sites for TOS, etc, etc) However, they're for Mac but i imagine PC should look similar and just be the same. You need to first specify the machine under 'system' and select the TOS which you've downloaded. Then assign the game to drive A. Tell us how you get on, its actually easier than you imagine Steve
  11. Count me in if the price won't send the wife into a frenzy! You have my email address Peter, just let me know please. Steve
  12. I've got lots of FTP servers listed down the left hand side of my website. These I use regular, but always eager to find more https://ataricrypt.blogspot.co.uk Steve
  13. I hear you. Every time I do come across a game that supports the analogue ports I jump with joy! It's then I remember I've a Mega STe and this doesn't have the ports... Doh!
  14. Asteroidia also uses the Blitter, either on STe or STFM
  15. interesting topic, for me I remember ST Format being the sole survivor...
  16. I thought the Elvira platformer used the blitter, on STFM and STe (?) http://www.atarimania.com/game-atari-st-elvira-the-arcade-game_9218.html Video -
  17. Umm yeah some would say the Atari ST was a pretty cool games machine and a decent all-rounder too!

  20. Ah I see. Yes, mine is external & will boot from this fine. My internal drive died last year, I don't miss the noise lol Steve
  21. Brilliant!!! I shall download these when I'm home:) Thank you! Steve
  22. I'm not sure what you're asking sorry, but I've a Mega STe and external ultrasatan. Just connect it up to the external port and boot HDdriver & install. Then the ultrasatan will not need the floppy as it auto-boots. Steve
  23. Hi Darklord, can you please also send this to me? Thanks, Steve :-)
