$400 seems a little steep, especially with the label scuffing.Phil
Agreed, probably worth that amount if it was in better condition, then again it doesn't show up on e-bay that often.
-
Yep I also agree, I have had 3 of these over the past year or so and all of them came from OZ.
-
Not mine but probably would be if I didn't already have it...

With all the SS exchanges I do every year online like this, we always started early - we got the announcement about the event on the day after Thanksgiving, sent our information in and got our assignments the first week of December, and most of us had the stuff mailed out by Dec. 10.I am probably in the minority here anyway as I am in the UK, but getting a list the first week on Dec is leaving me with a very tight dealine. Sometimes I have to get things shipped over from the US before I can sortout and then mail on to the final destination, which could be the UK or even Europe is some cases, that with the increase in Xmas mail doesn't give me much time...
-
A little more time would be appreciated, if any further events like this take place. I did manage to get something from the list I was sent but I was very tight for time. Something like this is good for the community and I enjoyed taking part. Many thanks to my secret santa, I am getting through the books that you sent me, and also thanks to santa for organising it in the first place.

Sent a small donation today --- We UK people moan about our national health service when really we all are very grateful if/when we need any medical help....
Wishing your children a speedy recovery man..........

WOW !!! Not too sure when my package arrived to be honest as I went away for the holiday season but I would like to say a [/size] very big thank you to my secret santa. My package contained several items, all of which will be very useful and it will keep be occupied for months thats for sure.
I also have no clue who sent it, I would guess someone in Europe though just from looking at the the labels and language(Not English) on the box..
Thanks again secret santa...

Just curious as I though that they were PAL only games,
I had M.A.D - Carrere video turn up today and as always I tested the cart on my PAL console and a very old TV, purely so that I can check that the cart works and also for format, and I was surprise to see that the screen rolls, suggesting NTSC format...
Anyone else have any Carrere carts that do this or maybe its just a bad rom or something.

Still waiting for my gift to arrive
, hopefully it will be here shortly

Never mailed by surface mail for overseas shipments. I can see how that would be time consuming.
Surface mail take likes "forever" I have come controllers once send via this method, just because I didn't really care how long it took to arrive, and it took about 9 weeks (US to the UK).

Sure, we love the game since we have 99% very common games. We also think this was very nice of you to run the contest and it ws the first contest we've even ever won on AA,lol. Heck we didn't know if you even had a case for the game, but it was very fun indeed!
If the game is a private one from your collection and you don't have a back up we feel quite bad.Sincerely,
Anna & Shaun
Don't feel bad, after all its the festive season, and besides I do own all 5 of the Avalon hills carts now
. I don't have the case for this game as my "Out of control" cart as damaged so I do a transplant as to speak, and hence the reason why I ended up with a spare London Blitz PCB.. -
How about Gauntlet? :wink:London Blitz, Room of Doom, Cosmic swarm, California or summer games?
*whew*
WINNER ---- Its was a game by Avalon hill (LONDON BLITZ)
Like I said in the first post if you want it you can have it just send me your details in a PM and I will sort it. It works and its NTSC format.
-
Arh !!! December 1st time is running out, I really must venture out of my busy world and start the xmas shopping ...It is NTSC format
It works fine
Venture, by Coleco?
Way too intelligent for me, infact I missed this the first time I read it
Not a coleco game..

I'll put you out of your misery shortly
As far as I can see, only one game title by this company has been mentioned in this thread.... Does that help

-
TapewormHunt and Score
Gopher
GI Joe Cobra Strike
Fantastic Voyage
Any of these correct??????????
Not Parker bros,Spectravideo,US games,20th Century, No idea who did hunt and score but its not them...
-
Picnic?Piece O' Cake? (this guessing sure isn't)
Raft rider?
Am I getting Hot?

Cold as ice -- Its not a US games title..
-
No correct guesses so far but I will say that one game by this company has been mentioned but it was the wrong game.
-
Not Xonon
Not Technovision
Not Apollo

Many Gems you will want.......
