  3. For those looking for a Menu-driven Multi, it is coming soon. http://atariage.com/forums/topic/289865-c7061-game-selector/
  4. The C7061 Game Selector for the Odyssey / VideoPac will be at the Midwest Gaming Classic, April 12-14, Milwaukee, WI. Be there! ---- Only 25 will be available at the MGC show, at a cost of $60. After that, Packrat will be contacting many people on a wait list (from up to two years ago). Order from the Packrat Website if interested, and you will get one given time (months now, not years). ---- The Videopac C7061 Game Selector is what Videopac and Odyssey2 fans have been waiting for. Created by Rene van den Enden, who has authorized this to be sold from Packrat, and contains well over 200+ different games. The C7061 Game Selector is menu driven, allowing you to select a game from a large collection of software available for the Videpac system. This cartridge also works on all Philips Videopac, Jopac and Magnavox Odyssey2 consoles. Main C7061 Features: - Contains more than 200 games. - Contains all Philips Videopac and Magnavox Odyssey2 games, plus a large group of prototypes and homebrews. - Contains several games that haven't been available before on a multicart (this cart has the power to handle these games). - On-screen game menu for easy game selection. - Works on all Videopac, Jopac and Odyssey2 consoles. - Works with the Voice (with a few limitations). - Automatic PAL / NTSC selection for some games. - Search function. - Brand new components use to create the internal PCB. Comes with or without a plastic case (for those that want to use a plastic Videopac case), instructions, game list, and cartridge (plus index card for those who would rather use a Videopac case). Please order off the Packratvg.com website please (not via AA). Thank you.
  5. Just an FYI - Current patch earners should get them roughly mid-April. Thanks for your patience!
  6. That was one of the original 233 carts with the switches on top. Updated cart with switches on the front is still sold by Packrat Video Games (on a limited basis at this time — there is a large backlog for now). The 233 used to sell for $40, but now sells for $35. Price lowered due to upcoming C7061 cart (Menu-driven multi for the O2 / VP). Both items can be seen on packratvg.com As for the eBay sale, that was a decent price, for the console and a collector version of the 233 cart (that model no longer made).
  7. Have to admit, that 28 score is amazing. I've played the game enough, and cracking just 10 is not easy for me. Good job!
  8. Work actually progressing on the C7061 O2/VP Multi-cart. It will still be a bit of time, but things are moving!

    C7061

I've said it may times (on various forums and FB), the 7061 is coming when it is ready, not a moment sooner or later. AKA - Really can't pinpoint a date, and will not, as there are just too many factors involved. Soon is best I can say. And for those wondering, the so-called 7061 will be an authorized copy of the C7060 Multi-cart for the Odyssey2 / Videopac systems (7060 dated back to 2012). There will hopefully be a 7062 as well, with utilities and some alternate software removed and replaced with more current O2 /VP home-brew games. I also do not have a date for this, other than hopefully later this year. Both will be produced by Packrat Video Games, LLC.
  10. And as of October 24, the damaged boxes will be replaced. I will post here when those are available (as of now, sold out though).
  11. As of October 23, and due to a slight snafu with the boxed (a few were damaged in shipping), the Boxed Edition of Astronomer is sold out (there may be a few in the end, and will post if this is the case).
  12. As of October 21st, the Limited Boxed Edition of Astronomer is available. Only 34 copes will be sold (and they are almost 3/4 sold out). (There were going to be 40, but some were damaged from the printer - sorry).
  13. The menu-driven 213 ones that are currently being sold on the Web are bootleg (they are not legit). I am working on updating the cart, per the original designer. It will have more that 213 games on it.
  14. If one really wants the Switch driven 233-1, send me a note, and I can put one together. I don't officially sell them anymore, but I have a few partially assembled ones I could finish and sell. As for the C7060 menu driven multi-cart, that is the one Packrat will be selling, with an updated game list on the cart. Rene has given me permission to sell his cart, using the C7061 name for this cart. I cannot give an ETA for now no when this will be for sale. I saw the 213-in-1 for sale from Brazil, as far as I could tell. If this was not authorized by Rene, then it is a rip-off of his multi-cart.
  15. Packrat Video Games, LLC is proud to announce the release of our first new Atari 2600 game for 2018. Astronomer by Alex Pietrow for the Atari 2600. Astronomer is the first Atari 2600 game created by Alex Pietrow. It is a simulation game of sorts that allows the player to get into the shoes of an astronomer and observe stars with the world's largest telescope. The goal of the game is to aim the telescope beam at a star and observe it throughout the night. This is achieved by filling up an 'observing bar'. However if the astronomer takes pictures of clouds while observing a star, the entire observation will be ruined and the astronomer will have to start over. This can make his or her life difficult as there is only a certain amount of time allocated to this one observer. Once this time is up, the game is over. Just like in real life, the observer who can do the most with their time will be considered the best, but this will partially rest on some luck. How high of a score can you get? Comes with cartridge and full-color manual. Astronomer is an unlimited release (cart and manual only), and is now on sale on the Packrat Website as of August 8th, 2018. Pricing is only $18 (cart/manual only version) plus shipping ($5 for shipping in the USA, $12 for Canada, and $15 for everywhere else in the world). Includes cartridge and full color manual. More information is on the Packrat Website: http://www.packratvg.com/astronomer.html Update: Limited Boxed Edition is now out. Comes with box, box protector, cartridge (of course), instructions, Stargazer insert, and Astronomer magnet. Priced at $35 plus shipping. These are limited to 34 copies only (with a few more arriving in November). Sincerely, David ‘Ozyr’ Flemming - (Packrat Video Games, LLC) Note: This game was originally brought up here by Alex last year.
  16. I'd be curious as to what you did trying to make a mold? The main thing I was thinking of, was making an actual mold with the 3D print file (if that is possible) and making injection molded cases from a factory. Pretty much guessing it would not be cheap at all, plus such things usually have a large order amount to each run. On the other hand, how did you go about making the 3D file for printing these cases? Scan an older case, or are you super good at this type of thing? It does look very well done. Possible to get close-ups of the hinges and the slot area for the index card?
  17. I'd be curious if this could be used for a mold, or if it is just for 3D printing? This looks outstanding!
  18. For those fans here of the 2600 game Astronomer, would there be any interest in a boxed release of this game? It would be a limited run, with a cart-only option after the boxed version sold out. This would be via Packrat Video Games.
  19. Finally working on getting Release and Karl Quappe released for the Vectrex fans (unlimited release).

They will be at MGC, for sale if I can possibly help it (no promises).

      LS650

Sounds good - I could use some new vectrex games!

  20. I"d be interested in this, allow with the plastic trays and overlay sleeves. Sounds great!
  21. Go to the videopac forum and ask there 'Videopac.nl', you'll get a much more informed reply there, from the top O2/VP gurus (not that AA is bad, but the O2/VP forum is the place for such a thing). I have two 7200 units (and two 7400) that work with the adaptor, but I could be wrong. A voltage converter, IMHO, is a pain — I've had two, low and high price. Low price melted after some use, the high price one can still cause voltage surges and such. Not fun at all.
  22. You don't need a convertor for the 7200 if you are in the U.S., just a plug adaptor. The unit will adjust the power by itself, unless some components have aged too much (I have one unit that won't work with this plug). VCT VP7 Adapter Plug for USA - You can find this on Amazon (I use this for m 7200 and 7400).
  23. Working on getting Bit N Bytes out to many Vectrex fans via Packrat Video Games!

    Bits N Bytes

Amazing how someone is posting these for me, which I'm not complaining about at all. Thank you! Great compilation of games on one cart. Good deal for Vectrex fans! Note: With the initial influx of orders via Packrat, it may take a while to get to orders fulfilled quickly. Doing what I can to keep up with the demand. Thank you.
