I think he’s probably great for those of you looking for those rare items and willing to pay for them. For people like me who can only buy at the budget level it can be frustrating when he has somewhat common items at inflated prices. It gives is no hope of finding a deal on less common stuff.

SOLD - CIB Compaq Pocket Computers - Aero and 2015C

Two members have expressed interest in these pending shipping costs. I will update if they don't get sold but feel free to post here if you want to be next in line. -
These are sold! Vintage Pocket Computers Price doesn't include shipping. Compaq 2015C C-Series Pocket Computer (Complete in box!) $10 This was my wife's computer, bought new and barely used. When I checked it out it looks like one of the hinge covers has cracked so the lid doesn't stay in place. I saved the other half in a ziplock bag inside the box so it can be repaired. Doesn't boot off batter but that may be due to dead button cell battery (usually Cr2032). It does boot on AC. Compaq Aero 2180 (Complete in box) $20 I bought this brand new around 1999 when I was working for Compaq and got a deal good enough to make me upgrade from my Palm Pilot. It was the first color pocket computer of this form factor if I believe. This was the deluxe top of the line package that included a spare battery, largest storage capacity, and charging base with spare battery charging port. I used the pretty regularly and even used it as a music player storing MP3 on a CompactFlash. I charged both batteries and was able to boot to the setup screen from battery.

SOLD! Vic20 Lot (Non-working Console, 14 Boxed Games, Unused printer) - $130 (plus shipping) The console doesn't appear to be fully working. The red light turns on and I get a flicker in the video signal but no other activity. Boxed Cartridges (untested since I don't have a working console): Cosmic cruncher, Jupiter Lander, Mole Attack, Number Nabber/Shape Grabber, Omega Race, Pinball Spectacular, Raid On Ford Knox, Road Race, Seawolf, Speed / Bingo Math, Super Alien And what appears to be two copies of: The Sky Is Falling, Vic Avenger and Radar Ratrace Commodore MPS-801 Printer APPEARS TO BE UNUSED! I got this in trade along with my C128 but I don't need it and am including it with this lot. The box is falling apart but can be included or left out at the buyers request. I wasn't told that it was unused but it appears to be as far as I can tell and is further evidenced by the tag pictured below attached to a tube that is meant to be removed before use.

I have a Vic 20 if you are interested. Haven’t re-posted it in a while but I had it listed in this sell thread: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/271354-random-stuff-vic20-vintage-pocket-comp-server-parts-7800-vhs/?do=findComment&comment=3878137 I’ll do $120 obo.

Well he seems to pass you right at 3 seconds. There is a dark clump of grass further down that he seems to pass at 9 seconds and you seem to pass at 12 seconds. Estimating your average speed at 72mph or .02mps times 9 seconds puts your distance from the time he passes to the clump at about .18 miles. .18 miles divided by the 6 seconds it takes him to pass puts him at .03mps or 108mph. That's my estimate...

Hopefully I'm not confusing him with someone else but I recall being bothered by many of his listings inflated prices and over the top claims of rarity.

That guys listings always bug me.

Dont forget to take feedback into account. His isnt stellar.

The original Halo for Xbox did four player split screen didn’t it? That’s how I remember playing it. -

I was anxiously anticipating Halo since before Microsoft acquired Bungie. When I worked in a QA lab at compaq we used to use the Halo trailer as one of our test videos. We were also big Quake and Unreal Tournament players and that trailer was so awesome we were dying for its release! I played the heck out of the original on Xbox any time I could get a group together to play. I never got much into playing solo and never played any of the sequels. -
Report it. I did. Mystery items are against ebay policy and there is a selection for it in the report item dialog. Listing Practices -> Other Listing Practices -> Chance Listings

broken 1982 2600 console + 14 cartridges, $15

If mumbai doesnt take it I will. -
Agreed 100%! People’s view of right and wrong is way screwed up.
-
I think my sarcasm was a little too subtle. I think your price is good for a modded 2600. Was poking fun at another sellers asking price.
-
What a steal! According another forum member these are almost worth a couple hundred unmodified!
-
Not to mention the power cord he thinks goes with it! Seriously though, check out his other items, what a random assortment of crap! How many times can you buy from the same seller a 99/4A, bicycle parts, Women's shoes, a Harry Potter wand, "oops I crapped my pants" and whatever the hell this is:
-
They look like they’d be more comfortable than the regular ones. Is that not the case?
-
If I wasnt broke Id snag those.

Please let us know how it is. If it’s as good or better than the laserdisc version I will certainly buy one. -
Thank you both for the replies. I did a search and didn't see a thread with much information on the sale or where the buyer identified themselves. Is there one? If not, did the buyer actually pay the full $3900? I'm curious given what seemed like some shill bidding at the end. I'm still really shocked to hear that this was a legit and completed sale. But if y'all say so, I don't doubt you. I'd love any details about how this went down. I actually have a non-gaming item that would be in a similar situation (super rare but un-authenticated) that I'd love to sell but have all sorts of concerns about trying to do so through eBay.
