...in the Inty version you can actually select the difficulty at the beginning of the game - probably the medium level starts like stage 2 and hard level is stage 3. That is really good.

you can try the MSX version here - it's VERY hard: https://www.file-hunter.com/MSX/index.php?id=stoptheexpress And yes, would be great the Krafterks song to accompany gameplay....but the intro song in the inty version is definitely appropriate. You may have recognized the oscar-winning soundtrack by Giorgio Moroder from the movie Midnight Express (so it's still trains - perfect!): I saw from the videos that the first stage of the Inty version is a bit easier (in the second part only one enemy at the time appears inside the train for example), but then increases progressively. This is actually a good idea, even though for repeated play it can be annoying having to go many times through a super-easy first level.

Having played all of them, I can say the MSX version is totally unplayable. The enemies shoot at light speed and this makes the games too fast and frustrating. Best version is the C64 one, with well calibrated difficulty that makes you want to try it "just one more time" and better sound. The ZX Spectrum version is almost impossible to play with keyboard, not sure if things improve with a joystick. Just think that to jump you need to press UP without pressing LEFT. Go figure. The inty version seems a bit too easy as you can easily kill the enemies just jumping over them.

Thanks for the info, but it still looks quite complicated. So there is no chance for me to buy DKA, Pac Man DX and Moon Cresta as I didn't join the club last year? This is really frustrating. I am wondering if I should hire an assistant to check all the special offers, limited releases and hidden games coming out every week or so in the whirling homebrew market... Also, if two games are included in the 2nd year membership, I guess the cost would be much higher than the 25USD you are requesting. I looked around on the web and I couldn'f find any info on the 2nd year subscription. It is also not clear what is the cost of the ACTUAL games after one becomes a member. 50 USD? 100USD? 1000USD?

....assuming I joined the opcode club today, what games would i be able to buy and at what price? is there a chance to buy the previous releases like DKA and Pacman dx and Gradius or they were reserved for those who joined the club in previous years? the whole "you can buy the next 3 released games" thing seems a bit complicated to me...what if want to buy ALL the games produced by Opcode?

The problem is that for the people who only check atariage every two weeks or so it's almost impossible to get the new releases with such few copies available... is there a way we can preorder one of each of the games you are releasing, instead of having to check randomly the forum hoping to be lucky? i take it you will assess the situation after your pending orders for infiltrator and robot army ship...i can only hope there will be good demand for Pandora to make more copies available...for sure i would like 1 copy of Pandora AND Star Mercenary AND Cat attack.😜

Please let us all of us who lost all three games know when they are going to be tentatively be available again for ordering...it's becoming really difficult to keep up with these new game releases of few copies being sold out in two days...(and damn frustrating as well)

Space battle purple box is Battlestar Galactica: Space Battle ? I never new there was a purple box of it, can you post a pic please?
