It may depend on the version of TOS you have. To remove a drive icon, click the drive icon then on the top menu select OPTIONS Click "Install Disk Drive..." In the next dialog shown, click the REMOVE button. Once the drive icons are removed, you need to save the desktop; OPTIONS menu, Save Desktop

The codes in the chips would indicate you have TOS version 1.00 US language.

Windows 10 can format 720kb disks in a USB floppy drive as long as the drive supports it, you have to use the FORMAT command: FORMAT A: /F:720

Disk are already there as well, check the menu at the top of the page.

Hi @ParanoidLittleMan I have the disks for Miami Vice but as this seems to be a rare game and I do not have the copy protection character card used to protect the game, perhaps you could work your magic and create a hard disk version which does not need the missing character card? Greaseweazle flux would also be an option and connects a floppy drive via USB to a PC. The original F1 Greaseweazle's are relatively cheap to build. Alternately, you could buy one of the newer models. You can then dump your floppy disks to SCP flux dumps. These can be converted to Pasti STX using HxC Floppy Emulator or AuFit.

Track 25 on side 0 is not 100%. One more re-dump may resolve this. The other tracks look fine now.

Disk 1 looks to be incomplete dump. There is a good Blood Money SCP dump in the Flux repository you could use to repair this disk with.

Okay, I would recommend continuing with other disks and come back to this one later. What are you using to create SCP dumps? Greaseweazle or Supercard Pro? What floppy drive are you using?

Disk 2 could do with re-dumping and maybe a clean. The orange bits indicate dirt or bad flux elements. Re-dumping the disk may work, if not it would need a clean.

Side 1 of the disk looks like it is dirty or has mould on the surface. You can try using isopropyl cleaning alcohol on a cotton wool bud to gently clean the magnetic surface on the top side (with label).

I note that your SCP dumps are only 2 revolutions. I would recommend at least 3 revolutions and ideally 5 revolutions as in the past less then 3 have sometimes not been able to work with weak bits etc.

With the uploads transferred through my dropbox link, I check that the dumps are not bad and of a reasonable flux level. I am no expert but the dumps I transfer are of acceptable levels. In terms of which dumps works with what version of TOS, a preservation dump doesn't care as it is a raw capture and matches whatever the original disk worked with. It would be better if other supported preservation, as you say, someone must have originals for games like Son Shu Shi and Jinks. With Greaseweazle, Supercard Pro and Kryoflux, the process of dumping disks is now easier.

Works and looks great. Downside, these have to be built ATM so you need good soldering skills. Until someone starts selling them assembled probably not an option for most users. You do still need to socket the Shifter chip (if not already there) and connect the HSYNC and VSYNC to the shifter adatper.
