For SCP and Kryoflux dumps, there is already an active preservation/sharing option available here: https://www.atari-forum.com/viewtopic.php?f=104&t=28228
The Repository Mega share link for shared dumps is here: https://mega.nz/#F!9RJixYhI!ozJAY06nUpYj2vzpuWORRg
I can upload dumps to the repository if you would like them added. I have a dropbox link which allows you to add dumps and I then move them over to the Mega repository. My dropbox upload link is: https://www.dropbox.com/request/DTUu6HMB7ojWWK4xjhjS
We welcome any contributions to the repository.

RGBtoHDMI is now possible on the Atari ST: https://github.com/c0pperdragon/Amiga-Digital-Video/issues/6
https://github.com/hoglet67/RGBtoHDMI
I have built this and connected it to a HDMI monitor. Works and looks great. Downside, these have to be built ATM so you need good soldering skills. Until someone starts selling them assembled probably not an option for most users. You do still need to socket the Shifter chip (if not already there) and connect the HSYNC and VSYNC to the shifter adatper.

I did this and you need to use a blank MSA or ST disk image and in TOS you need to use the disk Format option which will allow you to set a Label on each of the disks before you copy the files to it. The installer checks each disks label to ensure you have the correct disk in the drive as the installation runs.

Yes, ST version has talking too as it uses the YM chip which is in all ST computers.

This does have sound support through the ST Yamaha YM chip and even the characters talking. Press F5 brings up some options and you can choose. I have played these games on my ST and have sound and music working through the YM chip. I have also used a MT32-pi to output the music and this sounds excellent.

Repository was created by DrCoolZic and you can follow the steps in posts 1 and 2 on the link provided by ijor and DrCoolZic will grant you read/write access directly to the repository. Alternately, others have provided their dumps through my Dropbox share link and I move them into the repository. PM me if you cannot locate the Dropbox link and I will provide it.

6 hours ago, SoulBuster said:Sorry it took so long. But I am not able to visit the forums like used to be able to.
Here is the set that was labeled 3.09. Just recreate the disks and install.
I do not have a floppy on the PC so I was not able to make .st files.
I tested the install after I copied the files from the disks and re-created with blank disks. I then transferred the files to the PC using the UIP Tool. I then transferred back. re-created the disks and test the install again. It all worked great.
Many thanks for doing these.

Have a read here: http://www.atari-wiki.com/index.php/IDE_%26_SCSI_Drivers

I highly recommend the ParcP-USB adapter: https://joy.sophics.cz/parcp/parcp-usb.html
Great for transferring files to an Atari from PC.

I would like to know if anyone has a complete dump of this.. the one I find is an already installed version. I am looking for a copy that has UIS_III.dat on the disk (this is the file that is corrupt for me) This is the program file, that gets converted once you program in your name and serial number.
By Chance anyone?
James
Hi James
Try this one.

I have installed the Steem emulator as you suggested and was able to split the 1.04 TOS file into two (TOS104US.HI and TOS104US.LO) and should now be able to burn these on my EPROM burner. Thank you for your guidance!
You may find that the ePROMS for using 2 chip TOS is a bit more complicated than just burning them. 2 chip TOS is 28 pin and programmable chips in 28 pin format no longer exist. There are 2 options: 1. convert the Atari to 6 chip TOS ROMs (which do exist) or 2. use 32 pin chips and follow guidlines for using 32 pin ROMs in 28 pin socket. All of this information is available on the various Atari forums.

The key with Floppy emulators is that you will need either FlashFloppy or HxC firmware installed on them to use them with an Atari computer. There are guides out there on updating a standard Gotek device to install the FlashFloppy firmware and HxC is updated by purchasing a license to update the device.
If you can find one pre-loaded with either firmware then you usually pay a premium on the price. Any floppy emulator withour these firmwares will struggle to work with an Atari computer.

Here is a copy of Codehead Utilities disk and manual. Doesn't contain the program you are looking for but enjoy.

I had the same issue. From further installing, I found that installing Neodesk first and then installing Geneva worked. Geneva installation asks for the location of Neodesk and sets it to start automatically after Geneva has loaded.

I know this was an old thread but just wanted to share my recently scanned PDF version of the Megamax Laser C manual for anyone still interested:

Sorry, back again,
I could not find START Vol 2, No. 3
Anyone have this one?
And they only have 2 ST-Log cover disks, Where to look for for more
Thanks
This looks like the disk you are after...although the README.TXT inside looks like it references Vol 1, No 3.

I have now added the scanned PDF of the 32 page supplement to my website http://www.chillichai.com/atari-st-review It can be found in the Supplements & Advertising section.
From the dates on page 7, I am guessing that this was given away with issue 01 of the magazine. If anyone can confirm that this was the case, I would appreciate it.
The supplement covers MIDI, sequencer software and other audio software/hardware for the Atari ST. Enjoy.

Does anyone know where I could get a copy of one of these? I could not find either on ebay, or with Best or B&C. Won a copy of Word Up V 2.0 in the meantime for $10 bucks but not sure it's going to save in the RTF format..
Papyrus was available on an Atari ST Review magazine issue 28 cover disk. I have this available as an MSA floppy disk on my website: http://www.chillichai.com/atari-st-review
Hope this helps. The MSA disks can be downloaded and you can either use an Atari ST MSA program to re-create the disk or use HxC Emulator on a windows computer to open the MSA file and extract the files manually to a folder or floppy disk.

My Software Library: A Preservation Effort
in Atari ST/TT/Falcon Computers
Posted
With the uploads transferred through my dropbox link, I check that the dumps are not bad and of a reasonable flux level. I am no expert but the dumps I transfer are of acceptable levels. In terms of which dumps works with what version of TOS, a preservation dump doesn't care as it is a raw capture and matches whatever the original disk worked with. It would be better if other supported preservation, as you say, someone must have originals for games like Son Shu Shi and Jinks. With Greaseweazle, Supercard Pro and Kryoflux, the process of dumping disks is now easier.
