I had not even thought about SD card compatibility. I just ran through a few tests with three different microSD cards with adapters on the Version 5 BIOS recently posted. Here are my results:

My Concerto always acts this way no matter which BIOS I'm using.

This has probably been answered, but is there anything I can do to make the Concerto more stable related to initializing? It boots up about 20% of the time. I can get it to boot up, but I have to power off and on several times. I tried this latest BIOS. Works OK for me if I can get the cart to boot. Is there any particular game you want me to test, etc.?

Yup. A 7800 Europad.

I tried BIOS version 3. It caused some bizarre "button press" anomalies. Hard to explain. But seemed to randomly press controller button while using dpad. I went back and forth between rev 2 and rev 3 and the problem only existed on rev 3.

I'm getting all green from my 7800 with a UAV in it. It's an A1 serial. What else would you like? Let me know.

For originality I'd prefer non-backlit. But for playability, backlit is what I want. I'd really like some of both.

I have one but I would like one that is menu driven.

I use the 8-pin connectors since I have cables to convert to SCART OR plug directly into the input for an xRGB-mini. Those 8-pin mini DINs are sort'a the standard for RGB modding consoles. But you can really use whatever you like.

To clarify, I was referencing the small internal boards that produce the various elements on the screen. Yes, the issue would move if you swapped boards. That is the point as the moving issue would help you to know which board has the issue. Be sure to never swap board locations unless the boards are exactly the same. You may need to test the components on the boards to see if one is out of specification or failing. Unfortunately, some components will need to be removed from the boards (desoldered) or they will not test correctly.
