They aren't too difficult to repair. I've repaired a couple. You'll just need to find the correct board. Some of the boards are swappable with the same kind of boards in other positions which may be a helpful troubleshooting step. I think my last issue was a transistor.

Ordered one since a new run is happening.

If I remember correctly the RAM was not too hard to find.

Wow... That would be awesome! Wouldn't the logic behind it be complex? I'd love to see this. Sea CONQUEST!!! LOL

Hey, I'll send you my "Hard Hat" for yours. Maybe I should go for a full set of 8 upside-down BSR sticker boxes. 😃
-
Hey, I may have a variant box! The BSR label on the side of my "Blow Out" box is inverted. I'm putting it on Ebay immediately and setting the "buy it now" price for $4,000. This may cause a rash of "faked" upside-down stickers to show up on Ebay soon. But mine is the original!

99% sure it is one or more RAM chips. You can desolder the RAM, install sockets for them, buy new RAM and install it. Once your new RAM gets the system going you can test the old RAM by powering down the system and re-inserting an original RAM chip in lieu of one of the new ones to figure out if it is good or not. Rinse and repeat for all 4 to find the bad one(s). Someone would do it for you for a fee (like me), but you might be able to buy another unit for what that would cost for parts and labor. If you do it yourself, be careful desoldering on the old motherboard. Those are a bit fragile and you need to know what you are doing and have the right tools. But you can do it! Also, you can sell it to me. I could use a spare.

I'm interested in getting something going. Will there be Intellivision games to buy from any entrepreneurs?
-
I'll buy a few up front. 👍
-
Me, too! I'd build a prototype if there were schematics.

If you print on glossy paper and cover the label with clear packing tape (like lamination) with no seams or creases and then cut it out neatly and glue it to the cartridge as I described earlier it'll look nice and last forever.
-
1. Apply a thin layer of rubber cement to cartridge 2. Apply a thin layer of rubber cement to back of label 3. Let dry 4. Carefully apply label 5. Use a dry paper towel to rub off any excess glue Like new!

I would really appreciate a fix for the INTV RGB board to work with the OSSC. I'd also love a new board that would give component, RGB, s-video and composite!

Here's a previous discussion: https://videogameperfection.com/forums/topic/no-sync-intellivision/

Would this be an RGB video mod for the Intellivision? If so, I'm interested. I guess I'm interested anyway since anything with that IC in it could produce RGB signals. Have you every looked at the Fairchild Channel F, Atari 7800, Emerson Arcadia 2001, or Bally Astrocade and considered RGB mods for those? I'm very interested in RGB mods for all of those. For any systems with an RGB mod I'd also like an option for composite and s-video.

I love the PSIO. It's a fantastic device. And, in the past, I've had good communications with and support from the folks at CybDyn. But... That is not really the case anymore. I'm not sure what has happened over there, but their "Support Desk" has not proven helpful. Anyone else having issues getting help?

Sega Genesis to Intv2/Sears controller adapter

FYI, I ordered a couple of cables from Ebay to. use on a project. I'll let you know if they are ok. Seller said he has many but is experimenting with selling on Ebay. -
I could go with that, too.

I like using 8-pin mini-DINs wired like the xRGB-mini.

One of my TVs has issues with a UAV Rev. D installed in a 7800. I'd love to alter/modify it in order to get this particular TV to sync to it.
