  1. Capitalism is great.  Make what you want.  Sell what you want.  Charge what you want. Buy what you want.  Burn what you want as long as it is yours.

I really appreciate the time and effort that goes into all of the products made for the Intellivision collecting community.  They are great (almost all 😉).  If we want them we can buy them.  If we don't, we can choose not to buy them.  To my wife's dismay, I usually buy the stuff to support the community (and to build my collection).  It's fun for me.  I'd like to thank all of the producers of these great products for what they do.  As long as they are making good products I'll keep supporting them in the work they love to do.  Thank you much!  Looking forward to more!

    Peace,

  2. Folks, I'm looking for an RF switcher with multiple inputs and IR remote for some of my old gaming systems that I've not performed any video mods on.  Frankly, some of the mods don't look as good as the clean RF from the console anyway.  My Bally Astrocade, Fairchild Channel F, Intellivision, and some others look great via RF.  But does this mythical RF switching beast not exist?

I don't want an A/B switch like those Radio Shack sold for a while.  I need at least 4 inputs - more would be better.  And I want it to be well shielded.  Heck, if someone had the plans for one I'd build one!

Related question - I see many BNC-connector-based SDI switchers (I could get some adapters to make these work for me) for modern digital TV signals.  And though I think they would function since their bandwidth is much higher, I believe they may induce some delay due to the internal circuitry related to the digital signal processing.  Thoughts?

Thank you for doing it.  Much appreciated.

  4. Founder here, too!  Very excited.  I was super pumped when I got my Intellivision BITD and I'm feeling it again now!  Had to get the wood-grain edition!

When Tommy signed autographs after the Amico announcement at the keynote address at PRGE a couple of years ago my son had the honor and privilege to be at the front of the line and asked Tommy if wood-grain was going to be available and Tommy said "YES!"  Woo-hoo!

Of course, already ordered a second system and might get a third.  Love that Indigo at GameStop!

  5. If the system is on and you press on some components, not just tap, does the problem happen?  Flexing the board might open a break in a trace.

Also, if you have a cool-down spray, you can cool the components that are hot when the system exhibits its symptoms and see if the cooling recovers the system.
