  1. Resolder the legs and see if that fixes it. Sometimes when things get warm a solder joint will open up due to expansion, etc. Or, if you have access to desoldering equipment socket the ICs and test them in another unit. And/or, Inspect the board closely for a broken trace.
  2. Howdy folks. I have been searching for a replacement knob (or cap) for the volume potentiometer slider on an O² "The Voice" unit I recently fixed up a bit. It had no knob when I acquired it. Now that it works it needs one. Can anyone tell me what a good replacement would be? I'd like it to match the original color scheme of black with a red indicator stripe if possible. Thank you in advance for any help.
  3. Yeah, they are vastly different. I actually prefer the original model but also like the compact nature of the II for my everyday system. I do use a Sears controller but now we are into Frankenstein territory. I want to show off my systems but also have them be useful, comfortable, and fun to play with.
  4. I've done that but I'm looking for into on modding the INTV II controllers.
  5. Has anyone replaced the number pad of a INTV II controller with a bubble version from a model I controller or replaced the rock-hard side buttons with others? I want an INTV II with these mods and straightened cords. Ideas?
  6. I tried both versions. So far, I prefer the smaller one.
  7. I'd look for swollen/leaking capacitors. I might just replace all the electrolytics. I'd also check the power regulator or just replace it. If it is dirty or if something was spilled in the system it may be overheating. Is the power supply hot when this happens? Could be a loose solder joint somewhere that is opening after system warms up.
  8. That would be cool. A generic, angled stand with a "catch" (raised are) on the lower end to keep the console from sliding off. Here's one I found at Amazon:
  9. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. Did the "convert to CIB" kit ever come out for this or Anthropomorphic Force?
  11. I have done this for many games. I took scanned texts and loaded them into Notepad++ and then went through them and formatted them. I probably have 90%+ manuals for my games. I had done this for other carts before the LTO Flash so many were just drop-ins.
  12. Yay!!!! I'm playing Wizard of Wor on my Intellivision!!! Woohoo!!! Now I can die being completely fulfilled!!! Edit: Wow! This is fan-freakin'-tastic!!! Blinking stars look good 👍 Character animation is sweet 👍 Controls are smooth 👍 Voice is great! 👍 Voice was not possible on my previous favorite home version of this game on the Bally Astrocade. But it is on the Intellivision!!!
  13. My hopes and dreams have been fulfilled. I'm playing the ROM right now. Love it!
  14. I always buy ROMs for easy play from a flash cart (would prefer they were not protected and LTO only) and I also always buy the physical versions. Please tell me those are coming in the future. Thanks!
  15. I want a US copy, please. Please let me know when available.
  16. Just checking - does the TV work with any other systems?
