Here's what I know, optically, it looks nice. Turn power on, nothing (I think that's standard for ST drives), power on ST, the LED flickers red briefly, I hear disk spinning noises. Without a disk, it takes a lengthy time to time-out and go to desktop. When a disk is inserted, it errors with: Drive A: is not responding. Please check the disk drive, and insert a disk...
I have a non-Atari brand disk as Drive B:, which works fine in the daisy chain.
Appreciate any tip on how to get started checking this.

Another happy Atarian! Big kudos to the developers.

That's an awesome find man, congrats.

I would be interested in 2 of these. Also, Candle.. You hinted at "fixing" the situation of lack of multi-cart? YES PLEASE.

ALLEIN

Nice, look forward to it!

Please send me a pm, thanks.

<< gets out a brick and an ET cart. eBay here I come

Thanks for that! Learn something new every day. If anyone can recommend a decent converter, I would be very thankful.
-
Hi Rick, it wouldn't be any trouble. Someone else has asked for it, but if that doesn't happen, I will contact you immediately.
-
Is it supposed to be solid blue?
Yes, it is. it is in composite. It's down to either the way teh flashback sends the signal or the way the converter processes it. I should mention, that screenshot is from an LCD monitor, and I get the same result from an HD TV using its VGA input. Composite is completely normal.

Very cool, thanks a bunch!

Hi guys, I recently bought an inexpensive S-Video/Composite to VGA converter box, and the FB 2's output is "interlaced".. sorta. Interlaced vertically... Or, that's the best way I know to describe it. I'm pretty sure the answer is going to be, get a different converter, but out of curiosity, does anyone know why this is, and can anyone recommend a different converter that works? The display is fine/solid in composite mode.
Thanks!
I've attached an example image.

I recently won an Atari 410 cassette recorder on ebay. Unfortunately, it arrived mangled, the plastic case having been broken near the buttons. I haven't tested it out, but if someone wants it for parts, you're welcome to it. I'm in 92612. You can pick it up for free, or I would charge you only for actual shipping.
-
My zipcode is 92612. I can pickup if you are in the area. Please send me an item description and how much you are looking for including shipping. I prefer good condition, but will consider lesser items or even broken items that I can Frankenstein together or fix.
Thanks!
btw., the 850 interface will be used to connect an 400 or 800 to the internet via a lantronix device for use as a 24/7 BBS. I'm not married to it having to be an 850, but I am unfamiliar with the alternatives. Thanks!
*** I'm so sorry, I meant to post this in the marketplace. Thanks for moving it mods.

I could be interested in the modem and the disk drive. please send me a quote including shipping to 92612 if still available. thanks!

If incognito for the 400 is still a viable project, I would like to pre-order 2. Thanks for bringing this machine back to life

I'm certain we can meet the minimum number. I'm willing to buy a few more Dragos, if that will ensure a third run.
-
Ditto on the praises. The SIO2SD that I purchased from Lotharek is second to none in quality. Absolute highest quality.
-
I would like to pre-order 2 please. If you can't assemble, a kit would be fine with me.
-
that would be very cool.
i remember this game very well from my atari 8-bit days.

kevin242, aka Kevin Saunders has made it very clear that he doesn't intend to refund the $27.60 he owes me for overpaid shipping from our transaction. I gave him every opportunity to respond to me here on Atariage, and on myspace (after tracking him down.) over the period of one week. In every instance, he shut down communication by blocking my PM's.
I'd be happy to give a timeline + PM's to anyone that's interested. I can also document the check that he signed over to presumably his father James Saunders who cashed it, his admission that he knew about the overage on shipping, and his thinly veiled attempt to pass the buck to someone he says shipped the package for him. Kevin, if you're reading this, YOU are responsible for the transaction, no one else. Get that through your dim little bulb.
In an effort to protect others that may be approached by Kevin (public information obtained via internet search):

BTW Kevin, it's never too late to make things right. I would very much like to edit this post and let others know you dealt with this like a man and did the responsible thing.

R4 and 3-in-1 also from dealextreme. highly recommended for homebrew/emulator/mp3/video fans.
does anyone use a memory card larger than 2gb?
-
neat stuff. the 2600 conversion is amazing.Yes, it is, but the best Thrust I've ever played is definitely for Vectrex!
i have yet to own a vectrex. really interested though. i wonder if anyone has hooked a vectrex up to an arcade size vector monitor.

I don't have any advise regarding the video game site, but I would like to encourage you to talk to me about the money you owe me. Since you blocked PM's, you gave me little choice but to post on the bad traders list. Let's talk, I want to remove that post.
