neat stuff. the 2600 conversion is amazing.
downloaded. will try on my ds.
-
definitely interested in the ST and A8 items. e-mail sent.

I thought the FB3 was dead now, along with Atari? It would be cool if something is still on the way.i refuse to believe it. lalalalalalala.
-
i'd be perfectly content with a non-keyboard 5200 clone with built-in games, similar to the fb2 in concept, with exposed pads on the inside for the hobbiests, and the capacity for full A8 compatibility.
if i had my druthers, i'd add to that new graphic modes, or maybe new graphic/sound modes + turbo.
for a fb4, i'd welcome an ST clone in a box. While I believe the FB3 could be a commercial success, i have my doubts on the ST.

holy cow! elaborate!
I'm not doing anything else tonight, I'll "enter" this contest.
This is my flashback 2 mod - basically a TRON themed atari 2600
The open case (including game grid and light cycles), custom joysticks (they light up and have color-coordinated cables), and light-up TRON cartridges.

how did you swing an atari in east germany?
Also what I find so exciting about Kennedy Approach is that I played that game when I was a child in former Eastern Germany. At this time I never thought about traveling to the actual places of the game. Nowadays my sister lives in the US and it's very normal to travel through places like Atlanta or Washington D.C. !!grtx,

I'm not an TurboDuo guy, but I wish you a speedy recovery.

1040STF .. disappointed. it didn't look as yellowed in the pics, the ports are partially corroded, the shielding is mildly corroded... someone left it out in their garage unprotected too long.
so on goes the search for a decent machine.

Or 810 drive with Happy installed. New or used.
Does anyone make clones of these?
Thanks!
-
Does anyone have extras? I could use a full set. (Anyone sell obscure parts online?)Best Electronics sells them last I checked.
thanks for that, email away to them.
P.S. - They have them for $2.50 a set. Nice.

Went over my budget, unfortunately. I'm in California, but I've lived in Germany for years.
WOW. Is it yours?I'm bidding on it.
Yes, from the glory days @ JUNE AUDIO
14MB RAM, internal 128 MB IDE, 2x external SCSI, CC PowerUp2, FPU 68882

+ Galactic DIGIT II Master + Galactic VOXX Realtime Vocoder
looking for a LINE AUDIO Jam Pro 8/8?
or do you also need a SoundPool Digital Audio Matrix?
well, look at all my other items at eBay
Where do you come from, Joe?

We wait with baited breath. I think I already tossed in my opinions, but it's been so long.
A8/52 with the newer prototype video/sound/io chips, more memory.. OMG AMAZING!
Would a 65c816 @ higher MHz with backwards compatibility be a contender for CPU?
VERY EXCITING STUFF. I'm in for at least 3 units.

Looking for a clean 1040ST or STe and/or Falcon computer. One with minimal or no yellowing, docs and box would be great but not necessary. Thanks!
-
Atari 400 w/ 48k preferred, but not necessary.
Box and docs are appreciated.
Doesn't have to be perfect, but should clean-up, and not be missing any parts or permanently modified (i.e. holes for switches.)
Thanks all.

me too, with a little help from:
i can still hear the noiz of Aladdin's Castle.a real arcade!
i still have some tokens!
-
Yes - one of my favorite hangouts. Mall of Independence, Independence, Missouri, pre-82.
Who here remembers the chain of arcades known as Aladdin's Castle? I do. I played at one a few times at a mall in Martinsville, Virginia (at least I think it was there in Martinsville). I think the chain has been since acquired by Namco. Whether or not the name is still used I don't know.I remember once in an Aladdin's Castle, I found a Spy Hunter machine and pulled off a trick I heard from someone. I actually broke the accelerator pedal on the game to go faster. This did catch the attention of some of the staff there who were pointing and looking at me. It was during a commotion that broke out elsewhere that distracted them long enough for me to leave the arcade and I haven't been back since.

No problem. You may, however want to check out this page.
http://www.ionpool.net/arcade/gauntlet/hacks/slapstic.html
This is important since the slapstic protection prevents hacks from being run on a Gauntlet board. With this, your hack will run on a Gauntlet board.
yes, good point. i believe my board includes this hack, as it's been modified to run I&II
-
I believe this is what you're looking for:YES! Thanks very much!
-
Does anyone have a link to the Gauntlet level editor? It's been years since I've looked for it, and google is coming up empty.
-
Competition Pro rulez!Agreed! Competition Pro - as close to an arcade stick as it gets. Toggle switches, large buttons.
-
Works great but the joystick sucks. You won't be playing Decathlon on it. The new joypad version GP2X probably fixes that.Agreed, the GP2X could have been great if the thumb stick thing didn't suck so badly, and the TV out is in some really strange aspect ratio and poor quality IMO
Hopefully the new GP2X - f200 will fix the problem with the stick.
And Stella on the GP2X is easy to use
I think you can run emulation on the Nintendo DS and Sony PSP as well. I have the PSP -- it's a nice piece of kit.

Hi guys, Vista actually does not have a telnet client. MS did not include Hyperterminal with Vista, which was the default telnet client for XP. However you can simply copy Hyperterminal from an XP installation and it will work just like it did with XP. You can also download a free version of the Hyperterminal from Hilgraeve Inc.Ray
seriously? if you type telnet in a shell, you get an error?

I used to use Tone Loc religiously. That was a program I mastered back in the day. I even modified the connection script a bit to try "root/root" to find any system dumb enough to leave that login in. It worked..on a few systems. What I wanted to see was an updated version of it, and I sketched out an improved version of it(conceptual), but never got around to making it. Probably a good thing since it would have gotten me in trouble.
check out THC-Scan -- the successor to tone loc?

It pains me to do this.
kevin242 aka Kevin Saunders. Quoted me $40 shipping to send a monitor, said it would be sent parcel or priority. Monitor arrives in a box marked 'media mail' for $12.40. Has, so far, refused to refund the difference.
I'm still hoping it's a misunderstanding, and that Kevin will make this right. I'll withhold further personal info for the time being. Further PM's and info available on request.
I'm trying to work this out with kevin. i give him the benefit of the doubt that he had some distraction over the holiday. Will post update on Monday.
