and when i say color. i mean a different color per 8 pixel line
-
is it possible to do full screen color images in assembler, even with no flicker? does anyone have any routines for this? .bin would be ace
-
i have, already. it has too many limitations.
-
-
yes, they flicker too much. no good

ok. ive managed to get a color bitmap with a different color per line but is it possible to have a different color per 8 pixels across?
-
something like that but i want to get more than 1 colour on the screen at once, in 8 pixel lines and 8x8 blocks. 16+ colours would be nice
-
or the other way round?
-
is there a way of coloring the screen without sprites? after adding a monochrome bitmap?
-
yes, but ive tried that. if u have more than 2 sprites (up to 10), 8 x 255 pixels tall, they flicker ridiculously.

is there a way of creating full color screens with bb?
-
ok, ive sorted it
-
which is supposed to have dpc+ support
-
sorry i meant the latest version of bb
-
yea ive done that
-
and dpc+ doesnt appear in the commands list either.
-
ok, and another thing. in visual bb, there doesnt seem to b an option for setting the sprites to dpc+ mode, as it states in the manual. i have loaded in the latest dpc+ compiler. any suggestions?

ive downloaded the latest version of batari basic (batari Basic v1.01dreveng37) and when i try to run it or compile anything it just hangs and displays the word 'game'. what is going on? also when i try to use visual bb, its says dpc is not a valid keyword, when i try and set kernel dpc+.
