High Score Club: The Rules & Info - UPDATED 1/17/15
HermChase replied to Ze_ro's topic in 2600 High Score Club
I'll try this a bit! Probably won't be as good, and don't have many games...But...It's worth a shot, I me--Why am I talking so much? I'm in! ------- Chase Hermsen -
ANd now 570000 Articles posted. Great job, all of you! ------- Chase Hermsen

Haiku, huh? Well, since it's a video game: It's been nine years that We've loved and you still seem to Play games with my heart. -------- Chase Hermsen
-
I read the KLOV profile on it, and it looks to have gameplay semisimilar to Qix... So, if you like Qix, it would give you a little more incentive to buy it... Maybe test it on MAME first? ------ Chase Hermsen

I just played the game...Excellent workmanship. The jump sound playing as the words are displayed will soon be imitated by Jennifer's heart... Bad Anniversary Poem Not in verse, and incredibly cheesy, but hey...Maybe you'll like it... After all, an Atari can't display a really long poem as well... And, I think I just threw in an "A Winner is You" reference accidentally. ------- Chase Hermsen

I just saw the Homestar thing an hour or two ago...Quite amusing! I actually went to eat pudding after that. Edit: Don't forget this! http://www.thinkgeek.com/stuff/41/habicase.shtml --------- Chase Hermsen

Oh man...That is such a beautiful screenshot. I think a big "Awww!" escaped my mouth when I saw it. I only hope the whole event is videotaped on hidden camera or something... I love that red label, too... ------ Chase Hermsen

Death From Above....:02....:01.... Classic, man....LOVE the video. -------- Chase Hermsen

It's big, expensive, and apparently, a secret.

His "COMING SOON!"'s are even better. http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIt...item=3087153646 ----------- Chase Hermsen -
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...0&category=1250 (not mine) I don't know how much these are actually worth, but considering most regular controllers end up selling for $10+... I figured this could be good for someone out there. If they aren't worth it...Oh well, I tried! Edit: Gone already. Maybe I shoulda picked them up instead of posting this? ------- Chase Hermsen

I have one with a raised Hong Kong in the back of the cart, and one with USA in the back (with matching labels). Check: http://www.atariage.com/2600/archives/labe...variations.html For "minor" label variations such as these if they are not listed directly in the archive! -------- Chase Hermsen

Back on topic...The show looks amazing, and I REALLY wish I could have gone. *drools* I'm one for free stuff too, so I woulda loaded up just for the memories... Thanks for the pictures! Glad you all had fun, and maybe I'll be able to go next year! ------ Chase Hermsen

Weird Al eBay song, you'll see yourself in this I PROMISE!
HermChase replied to Retrobob's topic in Auction Central
There was a previous post about this song... Too lazy to look for it... As I said in there, eBay liked it so much that they had a whole "charity auction" thing with tickets and backstage passes and such. I personally have this CD, and it's pretty darn good. [Off Topic] Check out the song Hardware Store, if you wish. It is the most masterfully written and produced Al song I've heard in a while. If it wasn't about something so arbitrary, it could be a big hit, I think! [/Off Topic] ------- Chase Hermsen -

I have a Miracle keyboard...If I can get the chance, I'll take a picture of it for you.... I still love playing that thing. Good work! You guys are building up a respectable site pretty darn fast! ------- Chase Hermsen -
I don't see this stick in the guide... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...&category=41009 Someone should pick it up and add it! I would, but I just picked up an Unknown #3, and I'm cheap. ------ Chase Hermsen

http://www.atariage.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=42257 There is some discussion about using it with an iPod. I don't remember how much I got mine for...$29? I think? But, that included 10 games and a Video Touch Pad. Edit: I just checked. $27 after shipping. ------ Chase Hermsen

Wow, that's great... Maybe some day I should get out of my house and go to one of those things... ---------- Chase Hermsen

Why is deathtrap's Bumper Bash still up there ?
HermChase replied to CPUWIZ's topic in Auction Central
But, it doesn't beat your 10 second one, CPUWiz! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...2&category=3528 --------- Chase Hermsen -
Getting all 120 gives you three things: 1) The cannon hole opens up, allowing you to shoot up to the top of the castle and find Yoshi who gives you a message from the programmers and 100 Lives to play with, along with the winged hat(s) that are up there. B: You get a weird new triple jump. IV. Bowser says something slightly different when you defeat him. ----- Chase Hermsen
