Will Flashback 2 be released in Europe?
Ferris replied to ArcadeAction's topic in AtGames Flashback and Portable Consoles
Well if the Eurpoean market is treated to Asterix and Obelix I think we should get the Mr. T game here. Wasn't it just a modified version of Saboteur? ...at the very least Atari could cut some deal with the Savage Team to bring over Knight Rider 2600 and Diff'rent Strokes. After all they're warm to basic. Okay okay seriously... my vote would be for an imrpoved version of Crystal Castles, something that looks as good as Solaris or Midnight Magic. -

My friend's Uncle Gary took him out back to his special tool shed and "gave it to him" .....and then told him to "walk it off" ...yeah sorry to this DAY I still do not know what that's all about. I'm afraid to ask. Anyone want me to post some really nice big 2700 pics?

Any good Turbo Graphix 16/PC Engine Sites?
Ferris replied to dalton4life's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Yes, that was the pad that shipped in japan with the RX, but it is better known as the standard controller for the PC-FX, the 32-Bit followup to the Duo. Justin -
Any good Turbo Graphix 16/PC Engine Sites?
Ferris replied to dalton4life's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Not to toot my own horn too much but I think you may enjoy my website - www.TurboGrafx-16.com I have an entire database of game cheats (Tricknology) extensive history on the TurboGrafx systems, ebay resources, Turbo Library, scans of TurboGrafx advertisments, Instructions, Documentation, a Help page and just about everything else you could imagine. I always like to hear feedback too. You may also enjoy our sister site - www.Pcenginefx.com - extensive reviews and background on the Japanese PC Engine systems including PC-FX and Hudson Soft. Regards, Justin -
Hyper Force to me was exciting when it first came out... I was a die hard Jag fan at the time, I had the first Jaguar in my entire state! lol so whenever a semi-good game would trickle out of Atari it was an exciting day. Hyper Force never let me down like some of the other Jaguar titles did. Speaking of Gamefan, when exactly did they go out of publication and why? I used to LOVE that magazine.... they were very fair to Atari and the other underdog systems (TurboGrafx, etc.) and the other "systems of tomorrow" (3DO, other Jag competetors, etc.) I miss those guys!

I have one. I'd say it's worth around $2,500 generally depending on condition. I've seen one go for as little as $850 but that was a while ago.

The Retail Game, Part 2: Policy and Method
Ferris replied to Dones's topic in Modern Console Discussion
I worked in the video game dept of Toys R Us for YEARS in two different states and I can honestly say NONE of that applied to us at that company. I got my job because I was the only one there who knew the difference between PlayStation and Nintendo, etc. I was never once asked to promote anything aside from them pushing us to sell buyer protection plans. I sold what I felt was worth selling. I always gave my honest opinion of a system or a game and given that it was a little minimum wage job i was successful at it at that time in my life. This may be the case at some stored but it was never the case at Toys R Us. Justin -
even if Atari sold one million IBM-built Jags that would be $500 per system....
-
what a pair!
-
Yeah actually I can.... I've been speaking with the guy at classicarcadegrafx.com for the past couple days and was thinking about creating my own until I just saw what you had done. I thought you guys were going to get some printed up but if not I'll send it off to him and see what comes back! thanks again Still open for a nice NOS version too!
-
Wow Stingray that looks great! Count me in for a print if you get around to making them! I'm trying to find NOS, but if I cant this is a GREAT alternative!
-
Prototype M2 unit, little bit different than the white ones. Worth some money if you can find a good buyer. Count me in for it too.

Funny this comes up now, I just played Berserk for the first time YEARS and I noticed the evil otto face when they explode.... i didnt think of it so much as an easter egg as i thought of it as a really creative subliminal way to invoke fear of otto.

this game reminds me ALOT of Save Mary....

I have pix of the smallest box design too. I'll post soon.

Just won a RoadBlasters in pretty nice shape. It is the sit-down cockpit style cabinet (sorta rare) and I am intending on restoring it to mint condition. However I'm running into a brick wall trying to find side art for it. I'm looking for the "RoadBlasters" decals for the sides of the front quarters as well as the artwork for the back of the machine. PM me if you can help! Thanks! Justin
-
That's exactly what I'm going to do! I'll post some more pics once it arrives. *excited*

Every time I come back to this forum I find myself speechless. The mere fact that "Knight Rider 2600" appears on Game FAQs is beyond words. Long live the Savage Team and long live this thread!

Where's all the love for TurboDuo!!!!!!!
-
I do. I have like all of them on Playstation and PS2. Weird thing is I'm not even that big of a Madden fan.... but it's a franchise that's always been there and I find it interesting to collect for.
-
Bout time this surfaced.
-
The TurboGrafx-16 and TurboDuo are THE most underrated systems in history. There were so many great titles, it made for a great alternate system in the day when most of us would have been enjoying an Atari Panther.
-
There were three versions.... 1.) - stand up cabinet (most common) 2.) - wooden stationary sit-down cockpit 3.) - steel and plastic sit-down motion cab - small red ferrari that you climb into that moved around as you drove the car. Simulated turns, bumps, even had little fans that blew air against your legs as you drove faster. VERY cool!

Nintendo's Vitrual Boy...What does everyone think?
Ferris replied to vgcollector666's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Thumbs up for this unique classic! Gotta respect Nintendo for being willing to take the risk.
