  2. Personally, I make sure I KNOW I want the game before I get it, and I finish at least 99% of all the modern games I get. For that other 1%, it depends, usually not very long, under 4-5 hours. I-Ninja I just got recently, and was a great game, but the third time I fell THROUGH the floor from a standard attack, I shut it off. Guitar Heroes was another one I didn't play for overly long, I think I "beat" all the songs on normal difficulty within 1-2 days, and didn't really see much of a reason to keep playing.
  3. Don't remember the last place I saw them, but I could have gotten as many replacement sticks as I wanted for around $1.50-$2 each. I just couldn't justify the purchase for a tiny piece of plastic with no moving parts, etc...
  4. Bump, Also looking for Mario Party 5, 6, 7 - $25 each. All offered prices include shipping.

  6. http://stores.ebay.com/The-Electric-Quarter_Nintendo I've never priced NES games through ebay before, so you may get lucky, and if not, almost everything in my ebay store has a "best offer" button.
  7. That sounds like a pretty good collection to me. 985077[/snapback] That's just games I bought to play though, and my kids games. I've passed on plenty of <$5 gamecube games just since I know I won't play them, which I would never do for a system I collect for.
  8. And sold for a penny The box was roughly 3.5'*2'*2' (thaty's a wildly rough guess)
  9. Ya I know, that's why it's at $.01 with no reserve if it actually doesn't sell for $.01, I suppose I'll count it all out and relist. There actually seemed like there were a lot more actual black nes sleeves than what looks like pictured, maybe they all ended up on the bottom of the pile.
  10. Guess I'm not a true gamer then, I only collect for what I want to collect for (pre-32 bit). Actually, I don't think anyone on these boards is a true gamer by your definition. I have about 40 gamecube games, and don't have an xbox, nor do I plan on getting one. My entire "collection" is pre-32 bit. Everything else I bought to play only.
  11. 14 Pounds of NES sleeves http://cgi.ebay.com/14-POUNDS-of-NINTENDO-...5QQcmdZViewItem Yay for 14 pounds of sleeves! It's actually a pretty damn big box.
  12. a LOT of those gamecube and gameboy games are my kids. I assure you my interest in bionicle, beyblade, spongebob and that many pokemon games is very lacking Let alone rescue heroes heh.
  13. There's ALWAYS a toilet joke when I take gameroom pics I updated the thread using autostitch, the main pic came out GREAT.
  14. Uploading my website now, more pics than you could ever want: http://www.electricquarter.com/sub/gameroom.htm Also finally found the panorama software I was looking for, maybe I'll fix that up
  15. This thread should get nice and ugly with a pic this wide stapled to it Anyways, the wall shelves are the new addition. You can see what I HAD here: http://www.electricquarter.com/sub/gameroom.htm I think the collection is displayed much nicer now I'll be updating my website with a ton of new pics that I've already taken at some point, just wanted to get this one up there now Sorry for those that get caught in the double post elsewhere.
  16. Name: Toby Town: Midgar Code: 4467-3742-0217 I have oranges, bring other fruit with you! I've added everyone here and on the dp list to my town I think, PM me if I forgot someone.
  17. I'd agree with everyone else that it's a horrible thing to do. But I think what's REALLY blowing peoples minds is that you actually came here and POSTED about it. I mean if it were some asshole at a flea market that overcharges for EVERYTHING, and you did the same thing, hey, no problem. But ripping off a goodwill and THEN bragging about it online is just idiotic.
  18. I've just completed a HUGE update to our online store: http://www.electricquarter.com We now have shipping prices instead of free shipping on everything. This means our per item price has dropped virtually in half on everything, and you can now combine items through our store MUCH cheaper and easier. Prices went from $2.99-$19.99 down to $.99-$13.49 Shipping is VERY reasonable and caps out at $12.00. You can see the full shipping costs chart in the upper right hand of ANY page on our website. Everything is shipped USPS First class or Priority mail. Nothing slower (UPS ground/media mail, etc...) Let me know if you find any problems, or have any comments please!
  19. I've knocked off about 7-10 games from the list so far
  20. Heat shouldn't really be an issue, my receiver runs a LOT hotter than my ps2 or gamecube could ever hope to. And I won't even mention the temp on my modded Tivo
