I've started listed some sega genesis games. They're in my ebay store ONLY here: http://stores.ebay.com/The-Electric-Quarter Under a new category "sega" They'll be listed tonight sometime between 9pm-11pm EST. Here's the thing. Although most are sports games, I didn't look up the rarity on ANY of these. and at least 60 of them are priced at $1.49. As an example, about a week ago I sold TMNT - Hyperstone for around $3, current ebay price is $15 I found out after I sold it At any rate, you should at least take a look. I'd rather someone from here gets a too good deal off of me than some misc ebay person

Still time to get Atari games for Xmas! Low Prices/Combined
Sylentwulf replied to Sylentwulf's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
The USPS suggested cut off date is just about today or tomorrow. Still a chance, but no more guarantees on christmas time shipping! (Unless you request priority mail, which would be extra, and still cutting it close) -

Much Lower prices now available through my ebay store
Sylentwulf replied to Sylentwulf's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
But at $.03 per listing including gallery fee's, who cares if they sit there forever? I still have 20-30 atari games per day in auction format, but there's a huge picture saying if you want this exact item cheaper go to my ebay store HERE. -

Just a bump. I've been in the process of moving almost all of my game carts into my ebay store as opposed to auction format. Meaning MUCH lower prices with the same shipping rate for all classic carts. http://stores.ebay.com/The-Electric-Quarter http://www.electricquarter.com -
It's all 12" pine from Home Depot. Each one has 7 or 8 6 foot boards. I think the boards are like $7-$10 each. Less than a hundred each including ALL materials (screws, wood, handles, backing, etc..) If I remember right, it was around $150 for both of the system ones. I just threw the other 2 together recently without plans.

Yeah, I noticed the door picxture, heh. I just stood in one place and spun while clicking the camera to get the whole room, so you get to see the door in one photo, and the toilet in another The TV is ANCIENT - doesn't even have AV jacks. Getting a 27" this holiday season (that $90 one that's been advertised) I do most of my gaming upstairs on my bigscreen, so this TV is more of a placeholder right now

http://www.electricquarter.com/gameroom.htm Not sure which forum to put this in, so feel free to move if you want. Used to be a garage long time ago (new house, we move in in april) but the previous owners added heat to this room, and built a 2 car garage. I had to put the ceiling, walls, etc... in, and build a subfloor on sloped concrete (joy). Just about done now, just need to re-arrange and tidy up, but that's an ongoing project for everyone, so I figured I would at least get some pics up and go from there since I haven't updated my pics in 1-2 years, heh. Lemme know what you think!!

Most main product is already listed, Starting tonight I'll also be listing console game cartridges on my ebay store as well. All items have a lower price (usually the store BIN price is lower than the auction starting bid price) Shipping costs are exactly the same in both places. (My website still has free shipping inside the U.S.) http://stores.ebay.com/The-Electric-Quarter Take a look! I'll also be including items in my ebay store that are ONLY available in my ebay store.

Actually, I DO have thrust and 1 or 2 others because I've wanted to try them The problem was the rom pack I got had something like 2000+ files on it.
-
Yeah, mamewah will list out the files no matter what their extension. I actually found another disc with all .bin files (and NOT 2000 clone/homebrews) so I got lucky and just stuck with that. Got it up and running now. Thanx guys
-
So, unzip, and rename a thousand files one by one?
-
Also, I'm not using X26 as a front end, I'm using mamewah, so changing bin to a26 through X26 frontend isn't really an option
-
Getting some more stuff into my mame cab. I have a working Z26 emulator going, but it's looking for .bin files, all of the roms I have are .a26 format. Uh, what do I do? Any help appreciated!

Couple days left! -
I'm really surprised so many people like having all positive reviews for games. I know I'm by FAR in the minority here, but Tommy says what's BAD with most games. That's a good thing IMO. It's great to know that game x was fun, great graphics, and is a good game for people that enjoy type x. But I want to know what's BAD with game x as well. I'm just as picky as anyone else, and if my biggest gaming turnoff is bad voice acting, tommy is going to say something about it, whereas the other 3 mentioned might mention "it doesn't have the best voice acting" Tommy will say flat out "The voice acting in this sucked. Period." Morgan is a friggin airhead. And Sessler is NOT much higher up on the evolutionary ladder. Ranking every single game either a 3 out of 5 or a 4 out of five doesn't help either. (a game rated 6 out of ten, versus a game rated 8 out of ten is a HUGE difference.)
-
Judgment day is by FAR my favorite game review show. X-play just doesn't cut it for me at ALL. Morgan is STUPID, and sessler bugs the hell out of me. Neither of them have ANY clue about videogames. Judgment day you get comments like "madden came out for pretty much ever system this week, although I didn't like the intellivision version, but the odyssey version kicked ass!" The 2 in judgment day are COMPLETE opposites and like COMPLETELY different games. They WILL argue, they KNOW what they're doing, and you can tell they actually PLAYED the games as opposed to just looked at the back of the box (like x-play)

GT4 = No Online Play - why hasn't this been posted yet?
Sylentwulf replied to Adrian M's topic in Modern Console Discussion
GT3 wasn't nearly as good as the first 2 IMO. Sure, the graphics, and technical crap was better, but I don't care about that. I enjoyed the RPG aspect of building up better and better cars. I also enjoyed going back and CRUSHING the lesser cars with my new powerhouse even if it didn't give me much money (which you can't really do in the newer ones). Also, the specialized races in the new one SUCKED. Every single race, you HAD to have a specific car. I do NOT want to race in an 88HP car. EVER. PERIOD. I'm sure I'll get GT4 when it goes down to $20, but I don't have high hopes for it after GT3. -

Just an update, I'll be opening and testing a new controller to send out in the next couple of days (once I hook up a system, etc...) now that I've been contacted and we worked things out.

Whoa, guess I should check around here more often... OK. It's late, and I don't have time to reply to everything, but lemme try to get a couple things out of the way.... #1 - I DO about 300 packages a week, and 99% of them are, shall we say, people who have no idea what they're talking about, and buy the wrong items, have faulty systems/games, and generally don't know how to use a game system at all. I don't mean that to sound harsh, I'm the same way about almost ALL non-videogame stuff I personally buy on ebay. But what I'm getting at, is that I have a LOT Of canned responses, just like any other online business. If you reply 2-3 times helping me to understand that you DO know what you're talking about, and you've tried the things I've mentioned, then I usually become human and will genuinely help you in ANY way shape or form as most people here can attest to. Not to show favoritism, but mentioning you're from DP or AA usually gets you a human response MUCH quicker, because I can assume you know your way around videogames. #2 - I don't guarantte items most of the time because it IS known to happen on ebay that people buy a new item and try to "return" the old broken one if it looks new, thereby screwing the seller. This auction does say guaranteee'd and then not guarantee'd and that is an error completely on my behalf and I apologize. #3 - Figgler, please e-mail me or PM me. If I remember right you only sent me one e-mail, and that was my first reply to you. I'm sure we can work something out, but in the future, please e-mail the seller 1-2 more times before posting publicly. Especially people who have a LOT of sold items. #4 - My feedback. Don't look at the totals, when I first started ebay, it was 1998 and the feedback system was different, and I was a stupid newbie who got around 30-40 negatives in the first 400 positives of my ebay ID. Check what I've done in the past year from my feedback page and I'm well over 99.5% #4.5 feedback - I ALWAYS leave feedback upon sending the item (almost NO sellers do this for this exact reason), which leaves EVERYONE open to leaving me negatives without fear of retribution, which is where most of my negatives and neutrals come from. I hope this clears things up, and I hope figgler E-mails me at [email protected] or at my private e-mail at [email protected] (preferable for a faster and more human reply!) Please feel free to let me know if you have any other questions, and I hope enough other people around here can attest to my sincerity!

Ugh, sorry guys, didn't preview the link first, and I HATE BBCode, I also can't find any way to edit my own post? -
