  1. my brother threw it out like a dub*ss because he was tired of his daughter playing it  I cant remember all the games I had, all commons for the most part,, empire strkes back, bezerk, space invaders, asteroides,, target fun (my first sys was a sears heavy,, never had a prob with it or the controllers) . It was a 'surprise' xmas gift, last one my folks brought out and was the 'big' gift for the year to me and my borther and my sis. I pissed my dad off for as soon as he came down the stairs with it (still wrapped in xmas paper) I instantly yelled out 'we got a Atari", I had reconized the box's shape:) I had eyeballed it for along time at the store so I KNEW it was a atari!, my dad was sure I had looked under his bed :ponder: , but THIS time, I acutally did not know until he came downstaris;_)

  2. those came one of two ways,, One,, it may be a 'for promotional use only' system, they all had these switch 'covers', flip your unit over to see if its marked 'promotiinal use only'. Two, if this was a factory recondtioned unit, they most likely slid these covers on the old switches to hide any oxidation that occured. These were covers on reg switches. The covers were made of stainless steal (i think) so they wouldnt tarnish like the factory aluminium ones. This was great for the display models for many a 'sweaty finger' would work the switches.

  3. BTW povlok, thanks for the 007 game it's near-perfect! :D

that was one of the boxes that I got in that sweet deal in Michigain, all the boxes were that clean, even the system boxes! ;) looking at that box for 007 almost made me want to start collecting boxed games;) gave me that 'warm cozy feeling' inside looking at it;)

  4. I just wanted to let anyone interested know that there has been a change of plans and that this Bumper Bash cartridge and Instructions have been posted on Ebay earlier than expected.  I appreciate all of the views that it got and encourage anyone still interested to check Ebay over the next 5 days or so while the auction is on.  Thanks again.

Looks like another AA member has realised that everyone in here is a bunch of tight asses :lolblue: I do include myself in that as well  :D

  5. ahh yes.. here we go..

2 atari controllers and some 4 player attachment for snes was not worth this..

tons and tons and tons of pm from this guy.. i offered to throw in a extra game or two.. he sent me a list.. I was going to send 4 of the games instead of one or two.. he pm'd me back bitching about the fact I had included the wrong game on one of em (I thought it was Mnetworks Baseball, he wanted red atari label Baseball). :ponder: even tho

I was sending him three others.. I was really surprised at that..

Many of you know I have been in and out of the hospital since labor day,, and Ive been having a hell of a time adapting to new meds.

I do admit I am behind on this order, but I thought sending out 200% more games of equal value was enough for a make up..

I admit, I have a small prob getting orders out at times.. many times this is simply due to my health or just taking on too much, my fault, but I always go the extra mile with freebies to make up for it.

This is an even special case for I have to go to the post office being its going to Canada.. latly Ive been using the 'pick up' service USPS offers.

I have not even been to the post office since I last got out of the hospital

(actually Im not even suppose to drive,, but I can drive to the post office, its not too far_)

I am indeed outspoken,, I DO NOT MAKE EXCUSSES.. if its my fault I just say its my fault, im a idiot, sorry, but than do what I can to make up for it.. I got like 6 pms from this guy hounding me on this package in two days,, god I wish it was a money deal so I could of just refunded,, but it was a simple trade.. and I admit, I did forget about it twice when I was putting together orders,, no paper trail on this due to it being a trade so it dosnt show up on my 'buyers' listings on paypal.. so that part was my bad..

Truth is,, I didnt even bother to open his last pm. I didnt even bother to tell him I did find a copy of the baseball game he wanted and included it(pulled from my own collection I might add.. not one of my dubs) I had told him couple of days ago it would go out tommorow.. first thing the next mourning he was asking for tracking # that I didn't have.. (huge difference in price to get track #, this deal already cost me enough)

sure, ill take the heat on this, just dont everyone else think I out to rip anyone off  and I had to put some auctions together to pay freaken bills,, having my utilities shut-off takes presidence over your games no matter how late the order is..

  6. being totally honest here.. there is one on ebay right now with instructions.. so I imagine thats why mine is not gone yet;) figures.. a rarity pops up when I want to get rid of mine.. JUst for the record.. ALL these were marked PAL, evne the NTSC ones,, usually the 'pal' was crossed out with a marker when they were indeed ntsc, the one currently on ebay just says pal.. so it may or may not be ntsc, prob is tho.. eitherway, I imagine thats why mine hasnt sold;)

    MINE is deffinetly NTSC

  7. I plan on using a car 'type' enamal and clear coat on these units.. will wear like iron!

That's what I used to paint my MAME cab. Nice and shiny and pretty scratch resistant. I get a lot of compliments on the finish.

    -S

ya,, im going to try and 'tone down' the shine alittle to make it look more original.. they actually make a paint additive to help with that.. like for when you would paint black or white racing stripes ontop of a late 60's muscle car;)

  8. This game was only available via mail order,, its only rated a '8', but I have rarly seen this game,, this is only second one I've seen in two years.. maybe the westcoast and all you silicone inhabitaints have more of these around :D I bought this about a year and a half ago loose for $73, Ill let it go for the first one willing to give me $70 shipped for it!! woohoo;)

mine dosnt have the marker marks on it, perfectly clean. These came loose, never a box produced for these! sorry, no insturctions..

  9. I wish that he didn't require immediate payment for everything.  I would have bought a few items, but I don't feel like going through the hassle of paying for each item separately.  There are several rare items that he his selling.

Im sorry dude;) just tell me what you want and Ill pull it.. that goes for all AA members.. tnks;)

  10. Cabinets are painted blue.  The color code is out on the web, and then just have Lowes or Home Depot mix it up for you :)

Congrats on the boards, you should be in good shape now.

www.therealbobroberts.com sells the cap kits for your monitor.  Nintendo tubes are generally worth rebuilding..

    Cassidy

I used to paint cards.. I heard the color code isnt quite right.. I plan on using a electronic color sampler.. its a $5,000 device we use in the automotive paint department, lay it on somthing, it will tell you how to mix that exact color! even works when paint fades;) So, I plan on using a car 'type' enamal and clear coat on these units.. will wear like iron!

  11. Boy, I wish I had space for all those cabinets.  :D :D :D

    ..Al

I own a rental,, the downstairs is all ebay anymore;) (I live in the upstaris appartment) so, once I write my ebay up as a business.. I can bill myself rent for my arcade room ;)
