I had a guy do that to me a while back. Pissed me off. I noticed he had a Nomad (I've been wanting one for a LOOOONG time... and STILL want one....) and I was determined to get it. I had it in my hands... the guy asked for $15. I calmly got $15 out of my pocket and was handing it to him. (Keep in mind I only had $15 bucks with me). A guy from behind me said I'll give you $20 for it. and the owner took the game out of my hands... and passed it to the guy behind me. He simply shrugged his shoulders and stated that he was going to sell it to a local video game store for $30.
I would of called him a asshole and harassed every costomer that came to his table for the rest of the day for being such a prick

small collection, big pics

WOW, I actually have a couple of label variations that are not in those pics!
And we are all upset with 07pwb for buying everything!
Oh and another thing, Not Alphabatized??!! How in the world do you keep track of everything??
I rarly have time to mess with my own collection
currently Im working on a batch of the Colecovison Comp Mods.. seeing em go for $200 is crazy.. I plan on letting my go for a bin of $125.. anyone wants one PM me for a preorder:) Mine wont contain the moded bios.. but will be composit.. -
So, when you go to play, say, Pitfall!, do you always take the top one in the stack or do you shuffle 'em around a bit for some variety?
Here's my collection. Much more humble...
Voch
the stuff in my desk are my personal collection,, the stuff on the shelf's is for resale
-
Good lord Pov....Can I ask a few questions?
How old are you? When did you start collecting? Was most of your stuff purchased when it came out via retail stores? Via Tag Sales/Flea Markets or via online purchases?
Thx,
E
36, started collecting just 2 years ago,, find deals any were I can:)
-
Nice stuff there! So what are you most prized items, you know, stuff that you would NEVER sell?
most prized is not even in the pic,, its my Imagic Store Display unit.. I'll get some pics of it soon when I have time
but plan on doing the full restore on it first.. -
Hey, I see a few things in your collection that I need, but if you collected all your games CIB like i do, you would have no room left. (VERY NICE!!)

I have about 60 CIB games, they are in the storage closet.. those will be up for resale soon:) nothing really rare,,
-
i forgot to note.. most the circuit boards on the shelf's are rebuilt and ready for instal..
-
Ok, Ive been saying for awhile I'll get some updated pics, here are pics of just my room,, ther is a closet full of cores ready to be rebuilt that havn't been photo'd yet (about 120 2600's, 60 5200's, and lots-O-parts, also my pong collection wich includes abut 50 boxed systems) but here is good idea:) enjoy..
-
i was going to bid.. but that $9 shipping
I hate when sellers make a profit on the shipping.. -
well, I didn't say to use your normal id

-
just think,, if you'd of gotten off the crapper after the morning deposit just 30 secnds earlier, they'd be yours

If anything, he burned himself, I just read the description and it doesn't say anything about this being a heavy sixer.
I don't think that he burned it himself. There is something else involved with this. I have a 4 switch Atari with a numer burned into the bottom of the case that looks like the same type of lettering. This 4 switch also has a label on it that indicates it was made in Sunnyvale. Could these be units sent out for display or something?
.. NO..
-
sure you can work it out.. and you are suppose to work it out.. I can easily see a dumbass kid using a 'screw'.. once again,, cheap stuff=plastic cork.. $120 a bottle stuff=cork!
-
-
let me clairfy.. cheap stuff has a 'plastic plug/cork', exspensive bottles have a 'cork plug/cork'No champagne you do not use a cork screw to get out, the gas built up inside the bottle pops the cork out, and cheap wine can have a cork.... you're thinking of Boone's
Sorry either the mother is a bad mom or this is some one's idea of a joke. And whoever it is also has really bad grammer...
I've opened many a bottle of corked (not plastic plug) champagne,, the trick is to NOT let it 'pop',, hurts the flavor..here is a place that sells Champagne corks

i'd have to think the boxed glib for $5 beats that:)

is Coleco still in business?
-

this is another case of an idiot using/linking his pics from other auctions
what a idiot.. -
how'd everyone miss this.. the two Absolute games are woth the price by themself's.. but I'm not sure about that, err, so called 7800 powersupply??

-
I think side deals suck, but what can you do, you can't have ebay tell a seller that he has to see a deal through to the end after he posts one. One time a seller about 3 years ago was selling about 6 different Activision counter top store displays, which gave me the biggest hard on because they were great looking, and the very next day the auctions were pulled, when I asked the seller what had happend, he said that someone offered him $300.00 for all six and he took it, thinking he would not make more than that.

perfect scenario were you should of alerted the seller to let the aucion riide.. inform them that real collectors/bidders most likely will only bid at the last moment..and alert them of how rare/collectable these are..
