basically the controller pinouts will be a tad different.. breaking out a schematic and you can use a '+' on a jamma with some fancy rewiring (in most cases)

if your just starting to collect, thats not too bad a deal, not a great deal to resale.. I would of offered $6 for the lot;) doesn't hurt to barder

I cabnet is just a box with a monitor.. why waste a WORKING arcade cab for that? its soo easy to pic up a toasted cabnet for under 100 bucks (usually wiht a monitor) so why destroy a piece of history.. as for converting it back later.. this rarly actually happens,, most often the parts get lost, or the machine gets sold once and parts are left behind.. a mame is easy.. why waste a piece of history for a mame project??????????????

I don't consider that fair at all if you had made a deal with the seller and had even sent the payment how does he come back and say someone else offered more and now wants you to pay more, The deal was finished where does he come off even suggesting you should pay more, When this auction ends and the second highest bidder or someone else offers more will he again want more from the new winner ? FND offering to end an auction early is pretty sneaking.. boarderline moral as it is.. I show no sympathy for you not getting the deal..
