well, paypal is safe.. or, just tell the guy you are a tad nervouse.. if he calls you and caller id matches all the othe info..maybe hes ok.. but I would still procede with caution

well,, I was caught up in the Rob Vegas scam.. and it was basically same thing.. ebay said one address and name.. seller contacting me was totally different.. and I too talked to the dude on the phone.. if the name and address is different.. I would only do this via PayPal to cover yourself:) Is the address a home address? when I was getting scamed it was a hotel suite #.. that turned out to be a carlot! soo.. be cautious.. I just decided to wait a week or so before I paid,, glad I did for by than it was brought out that this indeed was a scam.. hope this helps

hes only four hour drive from my house;) i was thinking of giving him a neg and threating him with a slander lawsuite if he retaliaties.. the Ohio border (were he is from) is only 2 hour drive.. actually.. I would like to just know the truth.. if this other person did buy it.. I would love to bring that out in the open,, I dont want to mention who it is for I dont knwo for sure he did buy it out from under me,, but deffinetly seems suspicious for the person kept emailling me asking if I had recieve the game yet? than all of a sudden stopped asking..

About 6 weeks ago I won Out Of Control for 260.. five minutes later I received a email from a known AA member (not a big player) and he offered to buy the game for 300,, After winning the auction I noticed the pic was taken from Atariguide.com,, so I emailed the guy for an actual photo.... 2 days later the guy said "i tested the game and now it doesnt work so I cant sell it to you" I called him several times and got the run around,, I request a pic of the game to prove he still had thinking the person who offered me 300 for it may have offered it to him as well! I think I got screwed out of it.. what should i do now??

8 months ago this exact pic was used on an auction I bought that said it had 'tempest' included with it. I obviously got burned,, the gal resold the system 3 times! same pic every time!! this has got to be a scam!
