    sweet;) ya, i didnt look thru that site well enough.. short on time latly, been seeing disassembled ataris in my sleep :D I hadnt even looked at the schmatics yet, just dreaming up next project;) I would love to put a super chip in it of some sort tho.. with on screen select of course

    that post shows that 7800 monstrasity.. Im thinking of using the empty socket on the 2600 early six'ers. this was originally ment for a built in game (combat?) I saw somwere that someone had done this long time ago (just put in a game rom) only prob was, couldnt play a game in load slot.. thats what Im talking onf

    3 of the 4 loose, confirmed NTSC (i think I have all but Wall Ball, ther not here as im typing and I honestly dont remember wich on I dont have) I did buy them off of the original owner. Dont remeber what state but I think it was on the east cost. Person said they went to a department store that was haveing a going out of business and he said they had a 'garbage can' of atari, colleco games, all new of course, and they were going for $5 a game. He was actually disappointed not to find 'dig dug' wich is why he was looking. He saw the funky looking BOMB carts, thought they looked kewl even tho he never had heard of em, bought em all. This was back in late 80's

    What I remember about the built-in game .. is that if you put a ROM in there .. that's all you get!  You cannont use the cart slot for any other game.

    actually,, that 'dustin' guy on ebay who always selles the complete heavy sixers for 300-500 bucks on the feature.. he has one (or maybe two) of em,, he also has one of the atari disc,, he keeps buggin me for mine;) nooo way that going on the block, its sitting on top of a MINT first version, first year joystick. Skinny cable..

    winning bid was $267,  the third out of control this month to end with high bids less than $290.  well, if a few more pop up, maybe we will see the price drop to $200  :D  :D .

    I actually won this auction.. been waiting for the guy to send me an actual pic of it,, the one on the ad is from atariguide.com I called him over the weekend, but he is away till Monday.. anyone ever buy from him before? I noticed he had real pics for all the other items he has been selling,, he said on this one he did that 'just to save time' Makes me nervous, so Im going to have to confirm its condition

    Ok,, I won the auctions, River Patrol and Out of Control. Right away I got several email warning me (thank you atariage forum members) I was also naturally suspicious. First off, when ever I win a auction for more than 200 bucks.. I call the person on the phone! Well,, I called rob.. but his name was now Jerry? (relooking at the ad it says jerry in the 'send payment to' area, but when I did the ebay request user info the name was different!) Well,, I talked to the guy on the phone. THe first thing I questined him about was that he no longer used paypal, he stated that paypal had locked his account awhile back when he had 5,000 in it! I later looked at feedback.. he hasnt sold 1,000 woth of items let alone 5K. Then I asked, 'why are you selling?' he stated he was selling off his whole collection over the last few months.. back to the feedback.. found robvegas had bought a boxed xmen for big bucks just few weeks ago. So I was pretty suspicious to say the least and was going to sit on things for atleast a week. Wel, next day I got the ebay notice posted earlier in the thread warning me of the 'possible' taken over account. I instantly went to Live Help,, what a buch of sh*t. I told these people I had this guys cell phone # and they should asap it to the FBI, this guy could be from a big ring that has been sending out all those bogus ebay 'login confirmation/update' letters. The gal told me to send a email to one of the divisions in ebay. I said.. hey,, this is your problem,, im just trying to be a good citizen and help report this guy.. they totally blew me off.. in the 10 minuts I was talking to him,, he listed another auction!! and I pointed this out to the people on Live Chat.. Item sold the next day!! morrons But I did not get burned,, always call on big win auctions people:)

    If an item is like ten bucks or less and the buyer wants insurance, I just cover it.. I figure I can gamble the 10 bucks that the post office will be ok.. never been a prob yet. If its for a cheap game.. odds are I have a spare anyway

    Another phrase I don't care for is "from my personal collection". Yeah, I'll pay extra for that one. Its not like the other crap you have been selling :D

     

    GUILTY :) Ive used that before actually,, but for items I normally dont want to sell but may be selling for a fast buck (like to pay for a good deal on Out of Control, sell off waterworld) The term to me means 'collector quality' other wise it would of not been in my personal collection:)

    I would neg this guy.. even if he retaliates.. . I would also CALL him,, let him know that an ebay auction is a contract, and you dont care if its 2 dollars or a million,, its the princable. I hate tight asses.. greedy bastards.. enron managment,, etc:) Report him to ebay.. if he negs you, simply put a response that says Retaliation Neg and most people will figure it out. his on the other hand will be harder to exsplain. Id rather take a neg than let a greedy guy go free! You have so few feedbacks you could just start a new ebay account..

    Religion was invented around 4000-3000 B.C. as a way for the early leaders to control their peasants.  It is easy to say, "Build this pyramid.  Why?  Because God says so."

     

    That's why I'm against religion... or any other form of control.  It's nothing but a man-made invention by the power-hungry kings/presidents to enslave the masses.

     

     

     

    For me, life is what it is.  You are born.  You live about 80 years.  You die.  THE END.  Yes, that's a crappy deal, but the universe is a cruel place to live.  That's why 99% of all species are now extinct and stars randomly blow up.
