  1. Anybody have a copy of Sparta dos on floppy 5.25 they could send me ? I've been using 2.5 and once had sparta dos. I'm typing in old basic (Antic ect.) programs and once they are completed I can send them off to who ever wants then on floppy. I still have a working xe130 computer and working drive. The 1050 was working but I suspect now a bad IO connection. Any suggestions would help.
  2. I would like to know if it's possible to put Atari software from a win(7-10) machine computer on to a floppy 5.1/4 floppy to use on a Atari 8 bit. I have a working xe130 with two floppy drives. Would like to expand the floppy library I have. Like a dummy I discarded most of my library with the advant of Windows computers. I did have the wisdom to keep some floppys like dos 2.5 as well as a few games on floppys. Plus I have blank floppys that I could use. I never thought I would have a renewed interest in I did keep. Currently typing in typo II. To use with Antic listings programs. Rather time consuming. Any help with this would be just great. Thanks. What hardware would I need? Usb?

  4. There is a Tempest rom for the emulators. Did you know? Not to bad and playable. Not soild in graphics as NES or even GBA. I have it on my phone and desktop computer. Dont know about using a installed graphic engine on the console.
  5. Maybe outdated and if thats the case the thread should be deleated. I had the 2600.emu when it was free. It was buggy as hell and I think g2600 is better. Much better. At lest on my zte which has this problem with Droid2600. Im just joining this website in which case there maybe something someone else has yet to read when joining as well so I posted a reply. Thanks for pointing it out though.

  7. Found another emulator on the Playstore that does find your sd card directories. Its call g2600. Has all the bells and whistles like Atariod. Works well on my zte zmax. Have yet to plug in a joypad to program it but the options are in the settings. Check it out.
  8. Same here. Droid2600 wont go to a sub directory to find the roms. Atariod does work on my zte zmax which is Kit Kat. I should also add that you can program it to work with a usb pc game controler. You need a otc cable, ( cheap most places ) to plug it in to your phone or tablet's microport where you charge the phone. It will work with a keyboard as well. It works with my Amazon Fire and a cheapy tablet I bought from Amazon. When you open the Atariod app go to settings in the app. Plug in your device. You will see the setup for both keyboard and dpad. You can also use a Mouse with most newer Android phones with a On the Go cable. The Droid2600 app I think wont see the sub directory and is a top level which you cant modifiy unless you unlock which is a pretty advance mess if you dont know how. Dont recommend it if you are paying on a account. Also, for some reason I dont understand, my phone wont ' see ' a usb stick drive. That would be a great place to put roms. At lest not with my zte zmax. Really ? Ill try the Droid2600 on the Fire 6 tablet and update you.
