  1. Maybe I will end up building one, if I found another Sixer and Vader for cheap
  2. BTW, I'm selling all the Jr Consoles in Mercado Libre (Latin American eBay), if someone of the forum is interested, please send me a Personal message http://articulo.mercadolibre.com.mx/MLM-504563133-lote-de-consolas-atari-2600-jr-piezas-o-reparar-_JM
  3. Thanks n.n, I will take the reset (and also the game select) switches from a cannibalized Vader I have over here, I will need to replace the voltage regulator too, I went ahead and cleaned this and a Sunnyvale "Promotional Only" Vader Case, I'm looking for a top case for this Sixer, doesn't matters if it's from a Heavy or a Light
  4. Hi!. So yeah, I just wanted to share with you the start of my Atari Collection, starting with a lot of junk consoles I got for less than $50 USD with shipping Lets start with my original Atari Hardware; 2 2600 jr (A long and short rainbow), a 2800, 3 Darth Vader (One of them a Sunnyvale "promotional use only") and a Light Sixer with Heavy Sixer guts. It seems like someone didn't follow that rule Anybody knows if I can fix that? Missing buttons :/ Great, I need two new switches Cleaning them a little bit Holy... A Darth Sixer... just for fun This board (from a Vader) has so many missing components that I decided to use it for parts (Well, at least I got those 2 switches I needed) and unless someone on the forum want it, the case will became a Retro Suitcase And now lets take a quick look to the clone systems, 6 cheap Atari 2600 jr clones and a Coleco Gemini, not to much to day about them... A (not working) 2600 rip off game And last but not least, some non-Atari stuff I got, 3 copies of Mario Bros&Duck Hunt, 1 of Mario's Time Machine for the SNES and a electro-mechanical game called "Hit and Missile". None of this sutff is working, some consoles just give back a black screen, other this screen; I'm selling almost all this stuff (except for the Light Sixer, 2 of the Vaders, Gemini and 2800), so if any of you are interested, please send me a PM. I hope you enjoy my noob post, see you soon
  5. Sunnyvale Light Sixer, heavy sixer internals, channel select hole (no switch), SN 052102, 259 stamped on the bottom case
  6. This topic has became useless, can someone delete it, please?
  7. Hi!!! A couple days ago I got a lot of junk Atari 2600 consoles, one of them was a "Light Sixer" It didn´t any screw on it, and the Reset switch was missing https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/h8c5uspV-veovF_3Zf1p9TKw5bbljbSuuCwaj5KUQVI=w640-h480-no https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/7tJJdlPh5B8lWU0yZ-c9QMDRPfhyEWesAlUvLL5MpIg=w614-h461-no So I went ahead decided to open it, and this was what I found inside https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/BebKJL9Quc0ZLgeG6LBd_gnea_bOhtx1mWHub-Bk25s=w640-h480-no As you can see, it looks like a Heavy Sixer (7805 Regulator with a heatsink, RF connector on a separated board, no channel selector, monochrome connector between the main and switchboards). I disconnected the flat cable to take a look to the switchboard. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/MNGovPzMMrtMGGz7kyqYIMl9rrVZ0LUCqvyw8_tJAIA=w640-h480-no https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/6inCDqOoAm0T1yVhGcEmdk7HpazjXuNhR-6WA7ffLRs=w640-h480-no A C010462 Rev. 5 (with the Atari logo on it) Not only the switchboard, but also the RF shield seems to be from a Heavy Sixer https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/Juo9iU9MnofMrHxfw2QCZE_-JJDgeYz1qxm46Hko8j4=w640-h480-no https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/NHlK7yL2YzM0zsdohz2tr_gLmqkWKkJkWTO8n9WXU6A=w640-h480-no And just for fun, a photo of the actual mainboard https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/VEiL5T9H8MVAK1hf1zrhCbXTdWoZCb8CHUsA0NKMVc0=w640-h480-no So, is this a Heavy Sixer inside of a Light Sixer case? It´s very possible (specially here in Mexico) that someone had a broken case Heavy Sixer, found a dead Light Sixer and just swap the parts of them. Greetings
