Star Wars: The Force Awakens - Spoiler-free movie review

Nope, not a single Death Star to be found. I ain't sayin' what Thrawn *does* use, but it's more clever than 'Giant Space Lasers'. -
Star Wars: The Force Awakens - Spoiler-free movie review

I agree that the 'problem' that the New Order dreamt up to terrorize the galaxy was due to just plain old lazy writing. They could have done *anything* else and it would have been more interesting (like some of the things in the Thrawn Trilogy by Timothy Zahn). BTW, if you haven't yet read the Thrawn Trilogy, it's really, really good. I hope that the next movies nick some ideas/characters from it, as it has lots of good ones. -
How about that drawing? It doesn't have to be Michelangelo, it just has to be legible.

You'll notice that when VJ is in the 'powered on' state, the PAL & NTSC buttons are greyed out. You have to have VJ in the 'powered off' state to be able to change them. -
Is anybody making rotary controllers any more?
Shamus replied to Trooper Galactus's topic in Atari Jaguar
Someone posted a thread about turning a Genesis (?) controller into a jag rotary. He posted a video and was going to post more details on the conversion. To me, that would be the best way to get a rotary on the jag, without having to mod a jag controller. EDIT: Post in question is here. -
The main problem is that we have no Mac developers, and nobody willing to put in the time to make Qt and the various dependencies work on their Mac. It's a shame that there's no analogue to MXE (Windows cross-compile environment for Linux) for the Mac, that would make building it for the Mac as trivial as it is now for Windows.

I guess we should send a team to guys to release you from the people who are forcing you to read this thread. -
Unlikely.

From the built-in documentation (Help | Contents): There is no on-screen FPS counter as of yet. Never heard of Shadowplay.

It's already been done: http://reboot.atari.org/new-reboot/qUaKe.html -
The functionality to do RAM dumps is still there, I just need to hook it back up to the GUI.

IIRC, the blitter bodges the registers you tell it to, so you can't rely on those values being stable. Also, VJ's blitter isn't 100% yet, it's likely you'll see things that work on it that don't on real hardware.

Yeah, the debugger needs a lot of work and I would like to see it do autorefresh on its own too. It's on the list.

It's been very slow, as I've not had much free time available to work on it properly. It's still on my list of projects though.

F9 is the fullscreen toggle key. Once you're out of full screen, you can access the onboard documentation with Help | Contents.

What, no shrinkwrap?

I was going to say, what ever happened to developing off of a flash drive? That's how I did it BITD.

Let's try again. Do you have/can you make a diagram that shows the connections needed on the Genesis controller side? I assume the pins you wrote down correspond to the pins on the connector?
-
Seems like an easy enough mod to do, but is there a step by step, or a diagram that shows how to do this?

I was thinking of 4, 1, 7, and 4, but I'm not that you can think of the same number twice. :-/
