Great system!  For some people, the NES is the pinnacle of "classic gaming," but I much prefer the Atari 8-bit computer series, including the XEGS.

I'm a huge fan of the Phoenix!  But I really don't know if/when they'll make more etc.  Going off my (usually bad) memory, I think it was ($200-$250) + shipping...Probably want to look here (And check the last few posts...)

Agreed! I had it on the Nintendo DS first, which i beat. Bought it again on the 360 because I enjoyed it so much. I'm still upset that it's not on the iOS store any more. Same thing with Dungeon Raid!

@Zeptari1, yeah, I've grown overly cynical towards the genre. I sit there and roll my eyes at the trailer bragging about character creation, and game altering decision making, as if it's completely different than every other game of its type. You can do stealth! You can do melee! You can be a firearms master! 

It would be easy to do the same to other genres, including genres I prefer. But the modern RPG is really annoying me with its sameness.

According to a couple of friends who are playing it on PS4 Pro and One X, it's a mess that shouldn't have been released yet.

Don't bother the game sucks ass... there are so many better shmups on the system to play.

Only a couple games bomb out. Desert Strike locks up at the intro screen and TMNT has no sound.

Sometimes the console locks up exiting a game back to the mini's UI. You just have to wait.

Eventually, within a minute it fixes itself. Having lots of fun with this!

You haven't missed it yet. There's a bright yellow EDGE magazine from a few months back that covers it nicely. Looks sweet.

With It's low B&W specs I was thinking the hand crank was used to store power by the user. It's neat that it's used for gameplay I guess.

How about Tempest on it! Down on the d-pad to shoot and the crank for a spinner.

I think that pics from 1988.. So I'd be about 21 years old. 

I didn't care for the trailers, and was never interested in the comic, but when a friend took me to see it the movie was realy good.  I'd watch it again just for the cool soundtrack...

I don't like Popeye (movie 1980) when I watched for the first time but after a while, I started like it.

Maybe not Favorite, but I'd seen The Abyss...

And only kind of liked it.  Would Never dream of watching it again, though.  My friend then invited me over to watch The Abyss: Special Edition, and my mind was blown!  Truly a situation where the director's cut made a huge difference including changing the entire meaning of the ending and ya realize the studio made him trim out some Very Important parts!   It was a much better movie even if he left some long scenes in for no reason...
