  1. I thought the same thing at first. Then the game mixes it up. It get faster and way harder and the barrier goes away. It's like a never ending boss battle. So ... darn I guess your right. Still love that game.😆
  2. I've been watching youtube from the beginning. But I finally joined today just so I could subscribe to your channel Pete! I Love your enthusiasm! Fingers still crossed for Pitfall and River Raid Remakes!
  3. Ohh man now we're talking! I sold, lost, traded my original Deus Ex for PC many years ago. I've enjoyed the sequels so much. My favorite stealth game by far! How about an Amigo version guys? 😁
  4. Never made it there. Just Stafford Speedway & New Hampshire Speedway. I made it out to Lime Rock Park ( limerock.com ) for the first time a couple years ago with my nephew, He's a big Vette guy.
  5. Thanks so MUCH for posting this! It took me a couple minutes to find myself. See attached photo. So many names I've forgotten over time. I can honestly remember about 10 peoples names. But you sharing this was so awesome, I can't say this enough! BTW I found the group photos I took back in the day a couple nights ago. So If you need me to resend them just let me know. Such a cool dining room. I have the sudden urge to watch the movie Stargate. Great flick. Now back to the topic at hand: Was talking to the wife about the Amico just now. Here's what we love about it so far: GREAT VALUE... 2 controllers and 6 games included! Auto adjust for players of different skill levels. <<-- this is a massive selling point for us. Every single game is couch co-op! WOW Price! All games under $10! High score for place and time, I love this one! I still don't understand what Rfid is. I'm off to research this now. Rick
  6. Damn, I don't Facebook. Can you find me on that class picture? See picture's below. I was in the same class as you from 4 thru 8. I remember buying a "2,000" year old egyptian coin from you in 5th grade!!! Maybe it wasn't a sale, maybe a silent action. About 20 years ago I mailed a picture i took of the 3 of you on the steps of OLSH from back in the day. I thought I keep a copy! Damn I've been ripping the house apart trying to find it! David is giving you "bunny ears" in it! And Aron C. is standing on the other side of you. I meet up with you very briefly at you Video Games Live @ Springfield,Ma about 4 years ago maybe. Hopfully this rings some bells! If your every in the area please PM me here! I'd love to buy you a "Friendly's" treat! Rick
  7. OMG!!! I was in that area ALOT back in the day with David Shaw, remember him? Hung over his place listening to Ozzy and Zeppelin and playing tons of 2600 games. Played alot of Donkey Kong arcade in a pizza place in that intersection near the old H.O.T. building. I had no idea that area was your neighborhood.
  8. How about 4 player Atari Rampart!? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rampart_(video_game)
  9. I'm still 20+ pages back....I'll catch up soon. System sellers for me Atari2600: Just having a game system at home was the selling point! LOL Colecovision: Donkey Kong, great pack in game.My 1ST nest gen system. SNES: Super Mario World!!! Still my absolute favorite Nintendo game. PS1: Wipeout & Destruction Durby
  10. Tommy remember the baseball card-flipping games we all played in the school yard at OLSH? How about if that gets made into an Amico Game? It can have different game types. Like closest to the wall,farsies,matchie..etc. And you can learn to crease/fold the cards so they flip and spin in odd directions. Perfect for the Amico controllers! Maybe having just baseball cards will limit its appeal. How about cards based on Amico games? Game can be played on a 3/4 isometric view maybe. I think this is something special! What do ya think?
  11. Tommy I love this!!! And I'm only 30 mins in! I'm now SOLD on the Amico!
  12. I ate a peanut butter & sauerkraut sandwich for a $1 bet/dare once. 🤑
  13. Imagine a new Vectrex with color graphics AND Star Wars:The Arcade Game as a pack in! My 80's teenage self would faint!
  14. Man I really wanna ride that! Here's an article my brother in-law wrote about it back in the day. Looks like he took the time and updated it last year. https://www.tripsavvy.com/tron-lightcycle-power-run-disney-coaster-4066580 He took me on a day event to Six Flags New England a few years ago to try the Superman ride. His pass access made it so fun! I just found out he had his 15mins of fame on the Gilmore Girls show.My family is slow with the news apparently. https://getyarn.io/yarn-clip/4ff9e539-465e-422d-b3cf-de0d31fbcd09 rick
  15. I had to share this! Slotless racing dudes!!! I'm guessing late 70's. That's my little bro Tommy with the wicked Kiss shirt on. I too loved the races at Riverside and Stafford Springs CT. I returned to a race in Stafford Raceway for the first time in almost 40 years last spring! It... was....awesome! BTW Tommy that racing game on the Amico looks wicked fun!
  16. I'm thinking the Worcester area would be perfect! Anywhere in New England is fine by me. If this happens, someone please let us know.
  17. Loved Friendly's. My hangout was the one on corner of Berkshire Ave and Bay St, was my now It's a Chinese restaurant. Chocolate almond chip in a cone! Yummy!! I was bummed out when I saw Russell's restaurant on Boston Rd was gone. One of the best breakfast places in Pine Point area. And of course Tony's Pizza it's still there. Tommy as we get older we appreciate the simple things in life. Be it a classic ice cream sundae or a classic video game. Keep up the good work. And remember, stay frosty! Rick ohh and I felt the same way you did about friendlys when i saw The Home Depot replaced the Dusk to Dawn drive in! So many great nights there, and first dates! LOL
  18. Forgive my posts, as I'm about 70 pages behind. Same here. Most people don't understand the BBS thing that happened before the internet made it big. I think I spent about $180 for a 1200 baud Hayes modem back in 1987ish. One of the most exciting peripherals I purchased for my Atari ST computer back in the day. So many hours spent on the Pocket Protector BBS. Back to the topic: Question for Mr.T 1: Have you ever watched the TV show Reboot from the early 90's? 2: Any personal appearances to promote the Amico in Western Mass in the future? 3: Did you ever own an Atari or Commodore computer? -Rick
  19. Give a listen to this Tommy! Give a listen to this Tommy! I occasionally boot up my Klax cart on my Lynx just to listen to it's excellent title screen music. I'm still blown away by it! Amazing for a handheld released in 89.
  20. Activision Anthology and No Man's Sky please!
