    My AV to HDMI went bad. The replacement came in today... that's how I just found out my SNES is busted. It was fine a couple weeks ago! I feel like crying...

      I've read elsewhere that SNES unfortunately goes bad at an increasing rate, and once the PPU has broken, it is not repairable, only replaceable for as long as the original units last.
