  1. I have three left to get. I have been trying to obtain all in the boxed. Not worried about manuals on the rarer games. If I can at least get the box, I am okay with it. I have been going at the Atari 5200 for about four years now. The last five or so I have picked up took about two years to find. Like people have said before, you have to be patient. Although the Meteorites game I have is repro. So you could say one game will not be an official copy. It looks very close to the original, almost too close. The seller was selling it as a repro, though so at least he was being honest. I didn't pay as much as the official copy. But be wary. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

  6. Yeah, thats what I planned on doing and would much rather do. Just was wondering about the breadboard option. I am getting there, thanks for all the help you provided me so far. When I finally get it done I will show it off. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  7. That does look easier to wire than trying to solder to each pin on the connector. Maybe I should go that route. I have done more research into making this thing. I am getting a little better of an idea. Do you suggest breadboards? Or just wire it directly? Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  8. Okay, I understand that part now. But I still might not be knowledgeable enough to do this. I just am having trouble how all the inputs and outputs are wired together. I wish I had schematic or at least a picture of the guts in this thing. Thanks for the help, I do appreciate it. I am hoping I can figure this out eventually. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  9. I know this thread is really old. I am trying to figure out a few things about tbis adapter. I am a little lost. This keypad seems like it would be perfect but I am a little stuck in understanding a few things. 1. what are the two inputs and what are the two outputs? 2. Also here are some wiring questions. I have two inputs and two outputs how are those wired and connected together. I see the part where you list what pins go to what when wiring the 9f to 15m. What about for the other connectors? Sorry, just having trouble picturing this thing. If anyone else has made this or something similar, I would love a little guidance. Feel free to pm if you can be of help. Thank you for any info you can provide. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

  12. All of these ideas sound great for the Atari 5200. I wish I understood or had the know how to make a controller for Atari 5200. Does there exist a tutorial or a guide on how to build or mod a controller for the Atari 5200? I wish someone would come up with a cheap alternative. I would pay 25.00 for a controller but it seems like all of the alternatives that are out there are 50.00 and above. Sadly, I don't have that much money laying around. My only option is to build one myself. If someone has or can make a guide for us to use that would great. I understand I might be asking a lot. I also I understand it might not be possible. I think every Atari 5200 fan on here would be very appreciative of it. Thanks for this informative thread, though, it has got me excited about trying this project out.
