Wow, that RGB output looks amazing! Now i'm really thinking of getting this mod! It looks so crystal clear, even compared to S-video. Can you show us the actual connections that you're using? What cable?

Sounds cool. I'll have to try it. But how do you sync your controller to your PC?

I'm really interested in the regular boxed edition if there are any left (or any drop-outs). But if not, I'd like a regular cartridge please! -
Oh hell yes! One copy for me in NJ please!!!

Thanks! Yeah, I've had them this whole time. The 3 dirty ones I actually had on my bag during art school too. I wish i still had the letters with them. Part of me wants to collect the rest of the patches, but I should earn the score first....LOL.

This was one of my favorites as a kid! I'm currently looking for an NTSC version CIB to add to my collection. There are a few on ebay now, but all over $100!

Thanks for the link - I had stumbled across that last night actually. But, if i understand correctly, even after this mod, I can't just use the component plugs to plug directly into any TV? I need to make sure the TV can accept that signal type even if it has the red/blue/green? (YPBPR possibly won't work) Also, what kind of plug do I use for the RGB? Again, sorry if these questions are repeated, but I couldn't really follow the other website suggested.....I totally got lost on there....LOL. If I'm going to do the mod, I really want the best signal I can get, or the a variety of options. This obviously sounds to be the best, but I want to try to be on the same page of understanding as you guys.....haha.

Fantastic!! I want this patch!

Thanks. I get it now (duh....). I think I will stick with an s-video or composite mod to start. This looks very cool though!

So, this may be a dumb question, but what is the difference between this and the smaller board mods that I see available elsewhere? I understand the diffence with the remote jostick swtiches and the pallete options, but at it's core, the upgrades the RF to A/V out, correct? (Or am i misunderstanding this?) But this board seems very big and more difficult to install compared to the other like THIS. Any help would be great. I'm looking to upgrade my console, but in it's simplest form. Although, i would rather support the members on this forum....

What was the first Atari 2600 game you bought?
spawnshop replied to Skippy B. Coyote's topic in Atari 2600
We got our Atari 2600 around '81-'82. I remember Atari Circus and Combat being the first games we played on it after my dad hooked it up. But I think the first game that I bought with my allowance money at the Kiddie City was either HERO or Sea Hunt. Not sure what year that was.... -

Is there a printable checklist around for 2600 games

Great idea! It's a bit cumbursome keeping all the link info, but it's totally invaluable! Thanks for the tip!
