Today marks the 25th anniversary of the release of the very first Sonic the Hedgehog game on Sega Genesis! Originally released on June 23, 1991, Sonic the Hedgehog redefined the action platforming genre and brought a whole new level of speed and momentum never before seen in video games. To highlight the 25th anniversary I’m sharing my personal top 5 favorite Sonic zones from the classic sonic games from the genesis era and….Sonic Adventure made it in there as well!

Today I’m talking about Sword of the Berserk Guts’ Rage for Sega Dreamcast. This game takes place between value 22 and 23 of the popular Berserk manga by Kentarō Miura. If you’re a fan of Berserk or hack n’ slash games this game is right up your alley and this game embodies the early days of the dreamcast which is fantastic!

I wanted to share my thoughts on the DOOM closed beta on PS4 that was up March 31st to April 3rd. They gave us two maps to play on and I was only able to get deathmatch games, but in short I loved it!

TO THE MOON - TRUST me - You gotta play it!

There are only two games that I have played and beat more times that I can count and that’s Max Payne & Day of the Tentacle. My gaming life was started in Atari 8-bit computers, but was groomed with IBM PCs and Lucasfilm & Lucasarts adventure games. Lucas arts adventure games were the main games I played growing up and they shaped my sense of humor and critical thinking skills. Day of the Tentacle is my favorite Lucas arts adventure game and this Remaster is PERFECT!!

The NES truly is an amazing system that gave us magical adventures. Even with Blue SEGA blood pumping in my veins; I cannot deny how great the NES is!

#1 pet peeve is not pricing games. There is more than one store in my area that doesn't price anything until you ask.
DUDE I HATE THAT! It's awkward there's a store in like the Culver City, CA area called A & J games - Dude has a lot but you have to ask him for everything. Pulls out some dumb binder and gives you an overpriced answer. "Yo I could buy that NEW on amazon cheaper than what you're selling it for"
It causes me not to shop there and hate going there. I also have yet to find a decent retro store in the LA area - it Sucks - Chicagoland was so great

I threw away tons of Big Box PC boxes to keep the discs in a disc holder case - I kept a few great ones - but definitely regretted that - Through away the jewel cases as well! What was I thinking?!

STICKERS - There is a store in the Los Angeles area called GAME DUDE - I bought from them and they have "GAME DUDE" stickers on there - when you peel it off it like IMPRINTS some silver text that reads GAME DUDE on the case and is practically IMPOSSIBLE to get off - Never buying from them again!

Since it's Valentine's Day - I picked 5 games that are perfect games to play for couples!

I can't help but laugh as time runs out and the game is over the driver's girlfriend strangles him.

Haha yeah that's always hilarious! =)

Nice vid! Compels me to fire up the PS2 version as I bought it a while ago on recommendation, but haven't spent a lot of time with it yet.
Totally do it - It's the perfect game to throw on after work - the frame rate is so memorizing it runs at 60 - unfortunately the video I put up had a capped frame rate of 30 fps so it doesn't reflect the smoothness - But I implore you to try it out tonight! -
To drift tap the break and swing your car into the turn -

Out Run is my favorite arcade game of all time - I spent so much money on an upright arcade cabinet of it at a local fast food restaurant back in the day. I love this series so much and did an entire series review. What is your favorite Out Run game?

This is simply the best Couch Co-Op Hack-n-slash that ever was and will be!

I remember getting some feels watching the extended ending to Nights into Dreams, years back. Not sure any game's story is strong enough to elicit strong enough emotions like some shows and films do.
Please play To The Moon - Incredible what they achieved
