  1. If you have 2600 original joysticks, then they can be upgraded with tactile switches - very responsive https://osgeld.fwscart.com/CX-40_Atari_2600_Tactile_Switch_Drop_In_Replacement_PCB/p5988195_19269795.aspx As discussed here:
  2. If it is just the switches, and not heat sensitive components, then you can get a heat gun and blast all the pins at the same time with some hot air to melt the solder and then you can pull the switch off of the board.
  3. Most like it is one of the ultra rare sun-baked and heat/age faded label variants.
  4. Please take note from their site: We are marking the Raspberry Pi 4 image as beta for now – primarily as there are still some things to improve on, but most packages run well.
  5. Has there been any progress for this project?
  6. Well, considering the fact that there hasn't been any releases for Amico, then the library size is currently 0 so a 2TB card can hold an infinite amount of Amico's libraries Now we can only hope that eventually the released Amico library would fill up a few of these

I think this one is a nice compromise - it isn't too slow and it isn't too fast to terribly distracting.

I like it. it reminds me of: Can you do something more like this:
  9. I had the Intellivision, and my buddy across the street had the Atari, so no need for me to have both. Eventually I got the System Changer, and a cheap 2600, but that wasn't until towards the end.
  10. From looking at the timestamps, he joined, made this post, and left all within minutes of each other. He hasn't been online since his post. He hasn't even been back to see if there are any responses and so maybe he'll never return
  11. They are referred to as game cards in the few manuals that I have seen They were a little board that acted like jumpers, or switch settings, that would trigger the console's main board to play different games. So the Channel F gets the award for the first "ROM based carts"
  12. Can you drill the needed holes and salvage the boards? You may have to solder the lead to both sides of the board since the hole won't be plated.

We are cheering for it Any mistreatment will be handled by the complaint department
  14. Pong? there is no Pong! There is only Hockey and Tennis - these are no Pong. Pong is boring. Hockey is where all the action is
  15. Don't forget we can add this one to the count: Something tells me that we are not going to reach our 3M goal I keep losing count
  16. Maybe it is broke and that is why it was in the recycle bin? No markings or such on the interior board or chips? What does it look like in there?
  17. It has been discussed in other threads here, too, but now if you try and search this forum for "million", you get about a million amico thread hits.
  18. Please wait for a response from @e5frog He is the maker and seller. He can properly let you know if he has more available now, or when the next batch could be made.
  19. Maybe this will help: https://code.google.com/archive/p/sw3dprousb/

An interesting ad in that 1979 article: Who doesn't have spare time on their hands these days? You can still get their mini-dozer today: https://struckcorp.com/products/mini-dozer-md196k/

They're traitors to the Court!!! Off with their heads!
  22. I had 4 - and still have 2 or 3 of them add in 3 for other friends and family. Soon enough we will know if we can tally up past the 3 million mark
  23. Now the poll needs to be expanded to include more choices, but at least these look sleek together
  24. I was also thinking about that. You can have a non-ending chain of VideoPlexers and have all your carts connected as one plexer feeds into the next.
