  1. That is interesting to note. I've tried various drivers in Win7 with no luck and intvdave tried in Win8 and Win10 without success. I'd be willing to try again in Win7 if there is any info you can relay to us.
  2. BTW: If anyone needs $20, then I'd gladly trade it for another CGC
  3. As far as I know, the CGC can only be used for intv controllers, so you can't use it for the music keyboard or the ESC keyboard. And not for Coleco controllers. It is not necessary to use the ESC keyboard. I've not tried this, but it is my understanding that for jzintv you set -s1 flag in the emulator.cfg to activate ESC support and then you press F7 on a standard keyboard and the standard keyboard will act like the ESC keyboard. I think you can use the Ultimate PC Interface for the music keyboard. So a combo of the UPCI for the music keyboard and the CGC for the controllers should be doable. The INTV2PC is also supported in jzintv, so as long as you have the proper parallel port on your computer, it is worth trying. I don't think there is any way of using this on a Pi.
  4. Are there any CGC owners remaining here on AA? There were only 100 sold. I don't recall how long ago this was, but I think this was 10 years ago, or so. For those that are not familiar with them, these were created by Shiny Technologies and mainly sold through Intelligentvision's site. These were the predecessor to the Ultimate PC Interface. The CGC are supported directly in JZINTV, but the Windows drivers are only good for WinXP (works good). They are not usable in newer Windows OS (we've tried). There is a note on Intelligentvision's site that these are supported in Linux, and since jzintv also runs in Linux via the RetroPie project, I asked around and I decided to purchase a Pi 2 and give this a shot. It works like a champ. No keyboard hackfile is needed since the CGC is supported natively within the jzintv emulator. It is necessary to add in the correct command flag within the Intellvision emulator.cfg file. Usually this switch is --cgc0=/dev/ttyUSB0 But the USB# can be different depending if you've previously connected USB devices to your Pi. There is info about this support that has been added at http://www.intellivision.us/intvgames/cgc/cgc.php The first downside is that the CGC is only usable for Intellivision emulation, so it is not at all universal like the UPCI. But for me, that is OK. The second downside is that the CGC is not detected within RetroPie, so the Intellivision controller can't be mapped for RetroPie usage. This means that you need to use a keyboard to move through RetroPie and select/exit games. But for me, that is OK. I also have Kodi installed, so a keyboard is needed for that. So using the small wireless keyboard to select Intv games is no biggie for me. I think a summertime project would be for me to gut my Flashback and rebuild it with this. I would like to thank pimpmaul69, intvdave and intvnut for all their help confirming this'll work for me. Their support is greatly appreciated.
  5. Hmmm, might be time to update it to the Ultimate Flashback
  6. Oh, yes, and I am glad of that. At first glance it looked like Keith was getting some made on his own, but when I later went back and looked at all the pictures, all the pieces fell into place. the more sources the better.
  7. From looking around, by comparing the pictures, it appears that Keith is selling Nurmix's adapters for him. Nice, but I think you still get a bundle package price if you order the adapters from Nurmix http://intellivisionaries.com/flashback/
  8. Now people can order a few and get some Dual Action Controllers made up by Nurmix... I know I am
  9. Keith must have found some more, because I just ordered two.
  10. Nurmix sells his adapter for $14 each, so Keith is undercutting him by 50 cents. Now Nurmix needs to drop his prices. Although Nurmix is selling them cheaper for a pair of adapters.
  11. He needs to fix the title to one of the adapters. Edit: they have corrected the description on the site
  12. that's my question. I guess it is like in the Mad Max 2 movie where the little kid was catching the boomerang, but when the guy attempted to catch it he turned his fingers into hot dogs as they were all cut off.
  13. Shoulda asked in the poll if CIB or ROM, or both
  14. maybe if the LTO Flash and/or Hive get released, then the ROM demand would increase....
  15. Your first video should be your cart falling domino video
  16. IYKWIMAIKTYD = If your kinky with ice, may all ice-people know truly you're demented
  17. I need one.... and another.... and a cart.... and an instruction booklet.... and a box would be nice, too.... But it looks like Pimpmaul beat me to this one
