  1. Does anyone here know what the power connector on the internal psu is if you wanted to buy just the white connector by its self? The one on the standard ST power supply, not ATX or external. I am going to try and make a better pico psu cable but I need to find out what the power connector is so I can order a new one. Thanks in advance!
  2. Yeah there were write failures on the original drive too - but I am in very short supply of media... Is there a procedure for replacing the IDE controller chip?
  3. Ah so perhaps Atari Format instead of Fat ... I'll try that next thank you!
  4. Hello! I've setup my Falcon to have an SD card to IDE converter, and an HxC Disk emulator - I can run programs fine from the disk emulator, but as soon as I attempt to copy to the hard drive I get weird corruption issue messages. Does this mean my ide controller might be fried or could there be a simpler explanation? Thanks! Any ideas on how to troubleshoot would be excellent. --Bob
  5. Hello, I really like what many users on this forum have done in installing the pico psus - my problem is that I have not been able to find a 1:1 guide for what pins goto what wires on the STe connectors, and I'm really scared to fry my STe I'm converting from the UK to USA 110V hopefully soon! Does anyone have a guide that would include specific pins involved in getting this setup? I've printed photos, and schematics from a few different sites, but I still don't feel 100% about going forward until I see someone that might have this info available. Thanks!
  6. Hi, I'm looking to do some of the Cubase / Studio sound mods to my Falcon. Not sure if there is anyone else in the bay area that is a.) on this forum, and b.) would have done these mods before? I'm specifically looking at some of the bass boost and clock sync stuff for Cubase, but it's more likely I'll be driving the Falcon as a soft synth with my GK-3 pickup. Also I've been playing with ACE Midi - does anyone have any other recommendations for soft synths to try out with the Falcon? I've been looking for EC-909 and a few other older bits and pieces. Just curious for input. Thanks!
