  1. im not sure i know what you mean by adjusting the fine tuning on my tv. could you explain?

Had the same problem with my 7800, it was the RF tuning problem. Gaurenteed that someone here will help you, mine was an easy fix, and from what I heard, 2600s are alot eaiser. Just twisting a knob on the inside like you would to get better reception on a radio, but mine needed a common tool.

  2. If you wanted a few histories about some of the systems (Jag and gameboy just to name a few), I could submit them.... although that book is not something on my wantlist...

  3. po'ed is still my favorite first person shooter, single player.

I've played it extensively, and thank god, the psx version ISN'T like all those all other early 3do ports where the 3do version spanked down the psx version. PSX Po'ed is actually better than the 3do version, with faster and smoother 3d and some extra bonus on top of that.

Don't forget to look for the dead body of elvis in the meat locker on the alien ship. And remember to enjoy the elevator music :-)

The meat seeker and homing missles are lots of fun, and the power drill especially.

So, I should get it, and 7.99 is a good price to pay for it...right? well, I will get it then.

  4. Actually, I was thinking about doing something like this with the High Score Club... y'know, take a few weeks off to give the Epyx games, Track & Field, Decathlon, etc a run. I hadn't thought of teams though... that certainly makes things more interesting.

I'd be willing to put time into this if people are alright with that. If anyone has any further ideas about how things should work, please post 'em!

Track and Field, I knew I forgot one!

Ze_ro, you could be a lot of help, since you have expirence with the HSC and all...

  5. I was thinking, we should start the 2600 oylmpics. Its like the high score club, but this is a one time deal (not weekly) where we use the four sport games (Activision Decatholon, California Games, Winter games, and Summer Games).

In this game, people team up with one another (EG: CPUWIZ, Inky, Sku_u and others) on one team, come up with a team name, and then pick a representitave for each event (EG: CPUWIZ on the hurdles, rowing, bobsled, and Sku on the pole vault, hacky sack, and bike, with Inky on others. Each member can compete in more than one event.), like the real olympics, just, with teams instead of countries and 2600 games instead of events. Then we tally up the scores, and announce a winner.

Screenshots of the Scores HAVE to be posted, and I think we all can agree on an emu for those of us without the games.

And we can determin the required team size, (no more than X, no Less than X)

You can have tryouts for your team, as the olympics wont be held until later.

Maybe we can give out prizes, (I dont have anything but other people might)

What do you think? Good or bad Idea, and should we do this?

  6. Didn't that originally come out on the 3DO? I remember reading a few positive reviews about it. No experience with it personally, though. I wasn't aware it was ported to the PS1.

Yep. I heard it was better on the playstation, plus, I cant find a 3do version (well, there is Fleabay, but...)

i got an extra copy for the 3do :) just the CD tho

i never played the PS version, but the 3do one was hard for me to get the controls down (but then again most games give me a problem), but i had a blast killing things with the frying pan :D

    Hmm.
