The first one is definitely worth $40, particularly if it comes with 3 memory cards on top of the deal. You'll need a PS1 mouse if you want to use one. I'm fairly certain that no PS1 game will recognize a PS2 USB mouse.
Ok then. I will get it. (it doesnt come with the memory cards, its a $30 game with a $10 3 pack of cards. I figured I should buy them because I heard and I quote "This game goes through memory like a kid goes through candy". And since I only have a first party double memory card (has a fat end with a switch that changes them, and it is first party!) I should get a pack.)

I'm planning on getting Bustin' Out for Xbox. (Hard Drive is better than paying for a dedicated Memory Card. No contest.) Just wish it wasn't still so expensive.I have the Xbox version. It is a great game, you wont have any regrets after buying it.

The PS2 doesn't get used much for games anymore, so it has become my main DVD player...
Yep. There hasnt been any good ps2 exclusive games in a while. I want to round out my games, but cant find any. So, I am going to get RPG maker 1 and maybe re-get oddworld (and thats a big maybe).
All have strengths and weaknesses. I say all are good, in different generes.

The first one is much better.Despite having keyboard support, the second one is basically crap. Don't buy it unless you're merely after a collectible curiousity.
Right.
Is it worth the $40 (including the 3-pack of memory cards,)?
And can I use a Usb mouse on my ps2, will that take place of the ps1 mouse?

No one?

News hasn't changed.I know, just there are more people here, so they might have an opinion or something (i am always hopeful
)They all say the first (PSX) version is best, but I heard you can make platformers and other kinds of games with the 2nd version.

Sorry for bumping this thread, but I really didnt think it was neccessary to start a new one. I was looking at some ps2 only releases, (My xbox collection got bigger than my ps2 collection, and I think I need to balance it out.) Anyway, I saw this game agian and thought the same question as the first post.

Actually, I do...

IIRC you can build two storie houses, at least on the pc version. you build the first floor then you put pillers (sp?) down and build on those, delete or sell the pillers and you have a two storie house, you could also build a floating house this way.I've done that! Very cool.

The only one I have is Vol. 2, Iss. 4. Are the other imports good? What do you mean? Other imports?
The imports on the disc. The one I have is a Dungeon Master esque game. Others are supposed to have them.

It's like the Revenge of Shinobi / Super Shinobi trick . For that one to work you need first to find the cart were Godzilla has some skin. Even then you maybe out of luck. According to a close friend who actually looked in to this only a limited number the first 5 runs of carts shipped to the US will allow you to do this trick. How many carts that is roughly 50000 or so and no more.Godzilla? Skin? What are you talking about?

How would I exactly use the credit? (I am going with Super Skweek first, then, if I can, CHips challenge.)

Anyway. I got the original in 1999. But I really tired of it at the time. It was boring, because well, at the time it had no add-ons.
I stopped playing, and the add-on's came out. But at that time I gave up on computer game playing.
I am intrigued by Sims 2 though. But would only consider it if they ported it IN FULL over to a console. Preferably the Xbox. Because computer versions, well, they just don't do it for me.
I am wondering, are the Sims out for the Cube and Xbox good at all? You know, the one that requires (But doesn't come with) a 251 Memory card. I would LIKE to get it to play. They're getting cheaper by the minute. But I fear it'd sit on the shelf with Roller Coaster Tycoon, which was fun in itself, but with the lack of an infinite money cheat, (Not to mention no Zoom) got boring fast.
I'd buy it at $20 if it was actually worth it.
Both Console versions are good on the Xbox. I would recommend Bustin out because you can leave your house, unlike the first one. Although, both are good. I hate computer playing, but they just dont port that many games anymore. I would LOVE SimCity 4 deluxe ported. But, they wont.

Anyone like these games? I Love them. My fav is bustin out, although I wish there was an option to build a two story house. I like both console games, and I like the Sims 1 on the pc (all those addons dont add much, so I really dont like them. Although hot date is good, you can get out of the house.) What about the Sims 2? is that any good?
And then there is the GBA version.
Anyone play it? It feels more like an RPG than it does the sims, but I think it is a good time killer, I have played better.

Another platformer I liked was CarV-Up (I think that was the name... too early in the morning for me). Sort of a Miner 2049er type game where you are a car and must travel over all the girders (they change as you drive over them) to complete a level while avoiding all sorts of nasties.
Mendon
Sounds like City Connection to me.
