  1. There are plunty of XBOX forums out there just do a GOOGLE search. But when it comes to the 7800 your going to hit a cement wall. To date there is only 1 emulator that works for the pc and that depends if you have a fast enough system. I'm speaking of MESS and you can download it from this site. There is 1 for the Dreamcast but that don't run at full speed.

Funny enough I have heard of a Jaguar emulator for the XBOX, but I can't remember where you can find it.

There are more 7800 emus for the pc, and alot of them work. A jaguar emu would be cool, but I prefer the real system. It is right on top of my xbox, so I dont have to go far.

  2. It sounds like a Mario take on Jump'n'Bump, the free jumping-on-people's-heads party game (and not to be confused with Bump'n'Jump.)  In fact, I wonder now how hard it would actually be to hack JnB into this game.  Probably wouldn't even need any code changes.

Wouldnt need to. They make a Jump n Bump for the Xbox.

  3. PM Mike McKernan for 2600 games. He has a ton. You won't find them that cheap anywhere in town.

As for the other stuff, there's a guy working at RePlay Games (Eubank and Candelaria) named Chris. Call over there and ask for him. When you get hold of him, tell him what you're looking for. If he doesn't currently have the games you want, he'll at least be able to tell you where else to look. He's really old-school. He's got a 2600 Raiders of the Lost Ark "impression" statue made out of plastic, which he won in some Atari-sponsored contest back in the early '80s.

Anyway, the number there is 292-7529.

    I will call him tomorrow.

    @MichaelJMcKernan:

    I will PM you soon.

  4. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the Lynx's puzzlers, as they're all fantastic. If you can spare $10 or so, get Shanghai. If you can spare the big bucks ($30 and up), get Loopz. Loopz is certainly in the Lynx's "top ten", and much underrated.  :)

I actually dont like Shabhai. IMO, the best puzzle game for the Lynx is Ishido.

  5. what stores have you gone to so far?

There is absolutely NOTHING at Noble {Coors}that I would pay what they are asking for, but they do have some Jag and Lynx games i think.

2600 stuff is way overpriced at all the game stores.

What exactly are you looking for?

Well, mainly Lynx, Jag, 7800/2600. But am also looking for arcade.

Noble is the only place I have gone to that has classic games. I was desperate and bought 4 Jag games from them, 3 didnt work. The fourth was Fever Pitch soccer. I hate that game, but since it worked, I cant return it. They still have Lynx games: $10 a pop. The Jag game are $10 too. 2600 is really over priced there though.

  6. This is not a want, and if it should be in a different forum, please, mods, move it.

Anyway, I am looking for classic gaming stores in the Albuquerque area, prefferably ones with Lynx and Jaguar, but 2600 and arcade are greatly accepted. (I found a place for the 2600 games, but they gouge a little, $2 for a Combat, c'mon!)

  7. after emailing the seller a few times this is what i get:

    Dear Benno

I am so sorry I have have not responded to you quicker, I have been

bed ridden with the damm flu.

Your Item will be sent to you next week, my supplier had unforeseen

production problems and could not send my items, I have to order 500

at a time, and they were clean out by a U.S. buyer.

    Peter

I am willing to compensate you for your patience, I can either refund

you your money, and you can pay when the item arrives, or if you are

willing to be a little patient I will give you an extra item, pleasae let

me know what you would like me to do, so sorry again.

Hopefully i will have my money refunded... :|

Did you pay via paypal? Then you ask for the second Item, and take the money back if he doesnt come through.

  8. I would get Chip's Challenge first, and then after you've finished it you can get Super Skweek later.  :)  I love Chip's Challenge, but part of that could be nostalgia as it's one of the first games I purchased when I bought my Lynx a long time ago.

    ..Al

The only reason you recomended it is because you have more Chips carts than you do Skweek carts, huh? ;)

Well, I am gonna get Chips. Just to help you out.

  9. Correct. Unless they're both the same seller with two different accounts. I've seen that happen too.

This guy did a classic one-cent scam. Posted tons of games starting ar one cent, $8.96 shipping, no combining shipping.

Nope, seperate people. GameRZuniverse is gamerz here on AA,

  10. The Legion of Doom *is* the Road Warriors...that was their name first.  IIRC (and my memory is extremely fuzzy) The Legion of Doom was first coined to mean the Road Warriors (Hawk and Animal) Paul Ellerling, and a 4th guy though I can't remember who now.

    Hmmm...Favorite legends?

    Roddy Piper

    The Wild Samoans

    Ivan Putsky

    The Road Warriors

I could have sworn it was the other way around. Oh well, your probably right.
