I believe this is a desperate attempt for Sony to flood the market with GTA games. Rockstar was just signed to the 360, exclusively.

I've heard that there is a glitch where you can leave your XBOX on right after you switch between the 30 days free and nothing, you get free gold. This probobly isn't true though.

I always have problems using Utopia. It boots up, but won't boot my games. I would go with a commercial one. I actually saw one at EB once.

Strangely, its a discount card. MS signed on all of these partners. MS gains money, the companies gain publicity.

School has reaced a tough point now. I only really game when my friend comes over, which could be daily, and he doesn't have high speed interent, so we play a huge amount of games. We have played about 7 hours straight a few times. Other than that, I only play gams for about 5 minutes to test them.

This was cool, because Sony supplied Nintendo with sound chips at the time. Soon after this announcement, Phillips realeased its Cd-i technology which was a breakthrough for the market. Nintendo saw this as a good sign, and brought Phillips onto the team. Sony found out and got pissed becuase this violates the contract. The story splits here. Some people say that Sony wen't to create a new console to rival Nintendo, and the code named it the Play Station X, or PSX. Other people say that the add-on was already basically designed, and it could easily be turned into a standalone console. So Sony releases its PS1, and Phillips released the Cd-i. The PS and the cd-i are both bastard children of this deal. Ever wonder why there are games like Hotel MArion on the Cd-i?
