  1. He's asking 50 bucks, but its been there for quite a while, and I'm going to talk him down to something smaller. He also has this big bin of games, and I get to get a game, no matter how many disks, for free. I still think 50 is kind of high for this setup though. For some reason I really want it.

  2. Those are the cheapest prices I've seen for one of those, anyway, Nintendo having your old records is cool, and creepy, but why do you think that they would still have them, are they really that important to hold space on a computer database in the confinds of the Nintendo corporation?

  3. I'm w/ Crevatch, My thrift stores suck too, but a nice find for you Nester...if your still reading this...Well my find was a little difforent. I got a load of crap with it for really cheap, when I took it home I realised the lid was shut stuck. With a pocket knife, I pryed it open, and found someone spilled orange soda all over it. With a simple napkin job, It was as good as new.

  4. Ebay is really high for CV systems.

Ebay is high with any system including a boat-load of games. Not just CV, I mean any system. People just want a complete setup, I think, with nothing more to buy ever - I mean most of the people shopping on Ebay aren't collectors, they're just people who are nostalgic for their youth.

You can find deals on bare systems; I got my CV for less than $50 on Ebay with 3 games, and the system came complete in the box with inserts and all. Most people sell systems with 20-30 games and that's where you start to get gouged. Most of the time you can buy a bare (or nearly bare) system and then buy the same number of games for cheaper than buying them all together.

First off, welcome to the forums...

Second, I would go with a Coleco Vision if your going for playing 2600 games, but if not, go with the Adam... I was lucky to get my Coleco for 4 bucks. I was lucky that day.

  5. I really like the dreaqmcast as soon as I get past those odd controllers. I think that another of my fav dreamcast games is Sega GT. Its not that good, but still remind me of Gran turismo. I would also recomend a VMU. It doesn't show its stuff with most games, but its cool factor is through the roof.

  6. Some people just love the revisions of hardware..

whether there is any benefit to the consumer, new and smaller is always going to see and or be attractive..

While some people like them, I hae em'...I mean there harder to mod, play imports on or even preform a swap trick...I think that the older the tech is, the better the system.

  8. I understand. I have a playstation w/ the port, and use my game enhancer 3 for the same purpose. I would do the same thing. My playstation was only 2 bucks. (Thank you Bira Bira)
