I've heard about this book, and have been awaiting a new version, does anybody know when it'll come out, the site says 05, but anything more specific?
-
I forgot, he says the monitor is color, but I'm going to have it tested if I go through with the purchase.
-
He's asking 50 bucks, but its been there for quite a while, and I'm going to talk him down to something smaller. He also has this big bin of games, and I get to get a game, no matter how many disks, for free. I still think 50 is kind of high for this setup though. For some reason I really want it.

Those are the cheapest prices I've seen for one of those, anyway, Nintendo having your old records is cool, and creepy, but why do you think that they would still have them, are they really that important to hold space on a computer database in the confinds of the Nintendo corporation?
-
I'm planning on getting an apple 2 from a local dealer. It comes with a 12x12 monitor, and 2 disk drives. Plus all the hook-ups. How much does one of theese normally go for?

I amnaged to sneak away with some commodore paddles 2.00
and a Banjo kazoie promo video for .50

yes, quite good...It took a long time to load on my crappy computer, but still worth it.

Ah, Smash Tv. I have one for my NES, and am quite impressed, I get a certain thrill from it that I haven't had since I played...Grand theft auto?

I'm w/ Crevatch, My thrift stores suck too, but a nice find for you Nester...if your still reading this...Well my find was a little difforent. I got a load of crap with it for really cheap, when I took it home I realised the lid was shut stuck. With a pocket knife, I pryed it open, and found someone spilled orange soda all over it. With a simple napkin job, It was as good as new.

I hate that problem. What I did is try to clean the contacts in the console with one of those sandpaperish nail files. It seems to work o.k. for me at least. But I heard many things can cause this problem.

Comps...hm...well isn't a new game and watch gallery out?

Ebay is really high for CV systems.Ebay is high with any system including a boat-load of games. Not just CV, I mean any system. People just want a complete setup, I think, with nothing more to buy ever - I mean most of the people shopping on Ebay aren't collectors, they're just people who are nostalgic for their youth.
You can find deals on bare systems; I got my CV for less than $50 on Ebay with 3 games, and the system came complete in the box with inserts and all. Most people sell systems with 20-30 games and that's where you start to get gouged. Most of the time you can buy a bare (or nearly bare) system and then buy the same number of games for cheaper than buying them all together.
First off, welcome to the forums...
Second, I would go with a Coleco Vision if your going for playing 2600 games, but if not, go with the Adam... I was lucky to get my Coleco for 4 bucks. I was lucky that day.

I really like the dreaqmcast as soon as I get past those odd controllers. I think that another of my fav dreamcast games is Sega GT. Its not that good, but still remind me of Gran turismo. I would also recomend a VMU. It doesn't show its stuff with most games, but its cool factor is through the roof.

You also might want to think about lunar lander. The stratedgy is just awesome.

Some people just love the revisions of hardware..whether there is any benefit to the consumer, new and smaller is always going to see and or be attractive..

While some people like them, I hae em'...I mean there harder to mod, play imports on or even preform a swap trick...I think that the older the tech is, the better the system.

I've got this crappy thing called an emiglio, maybe its that?

Got to be a tandy. I have one that looks like that, three with that type of shell, but only 1 with that plug, and it has a tandy sticker on the front.

I'm going to turn one of my NES controllers into a
computer mouse. What I need to know is if anyone has the
pin-outs for eighter a NES controller, or a standered
computer mouse.
-
I don't really care where the sticks are. I think thes should ditch the memory card ports on th PS2, and make em controller ports. Then fashin a memory card slot on the controller. Or at least make the controller ports small like the GameCube ones.
-
Lets see...
Gamecube:Animal Crossing, Harvest Moon
PS2:TimeSplitters 2
X-Box:Halo, StarWars: Clone Wars
N64: Perfect Dark, F-Zero X, Goldeneye
Playstation: can't remember what its called, but its an import, where you own a resturaunt.
SNES:Populous, Earthbound
PC: Roller Coaster Tycoon
I can't think of all my favourites right now.

I only like it, because I don't have a floppy drive yet. After that addition to the commodore family, the datasette will go back into its origional box, with an unusually stange K-Mart sticker reading 59.99

I hate the Colecovision power supply. If no cords come with it, I wouldn't buy it. Thankfully mine came w/ a cord. Best 4 dollars I ever spent.
