  1. Scott Dayton has a lot of great hacks nominated here. I chose Alf because it has some nice looking sprites and it's a lot of fun to play. I also liked the Moon Patrol hack and the Stargate (River Raid) hack.
  2. Tough call between Sword of Surtr and Space Game. Two completely different genres. I have to go with Surtr though, because it looks like a cross between Adventure, Zelda, and a touch of FF1 (the boat that takes you to other lands). Tyre Trax is also a fun one with nice graphics.
  3. Looks like 2019 is going to be a banner year for homebrews! A lot of these look amazing.
  4. I love the old school Atari-styled packaging, so for me it was a tough choice between Astronomer and Space Game, but I have to go with Space Game.
  5. My vote for best homebrew has to go to Mappy. It's a fun, spot-on arcade port. The graphics, sounds, and music are all outstanding.
  6. This game is really well done! I love DoodleJump too, and my kids couldn't stop playing this version! I can't believe this is your first Homebrew!
  7. This is a really nice port. I've got it working on the Colleen emulator for Android in 130xe mode and XL/XE (192k) mode. Works fine with both ntsc and pal. Keep up the good work! Dan
  8. I used a $30 gift card for Disc Replay and got Canyon Bomber, No Escape, and Crackpots all CIB, and some loose cartridges of Roc N Rope, Burgertime, Cosmic Creeps, and Megamania (blue label). Dan
  9. I would love to see the Atari 7800 emulation brought back. There were some excellent games on the Flashback 1, which I still have in my collection, but they were a little glitchy. I'm sure ATgames could improve the emulation for a new model. On the Sega side, I think adding the Sega CD games would be great. Granted, the files are huge, but flash memory keeps getting cheaper, so even adding a few SegaCD games could be a possibility.
  10. Do you have a Micro Center store nearby? If so, definitely check them out. Heck, try them online. I'm sure they have lots of desktops. Dan
  11. Pac-man 256 is probably the best I've seen. it's for Android and IOS. It has an endless maze, lots of ghosts and all kinds of crazy power ups. Pac-mania for either NES or Sega would be my runner-up, followed by Ms. pac-man for the 2600. Dan
  12. I would also be interested. How about the Offworld arcade (at the Checker Bar in Detroit), or Pinball Pete's in Ann Arbor? BTW, Tempest... I am also downriver (Wyandotte). Dan
  13. Hi All! I finally joined the forums and I too am in Michigan. I've been to Pinball Pete's a couple times. I had my 40th birthday party there a few years ago. So what is new with the MCGG? Any upcoming events planned? Dan
