  1. Like a shed lol. I have been meaning to paint it and hand a sign, may do that soon so will share a pic. Sent from my HTC U11 using Tapatalk
  2. Finally she is ready, it's been emotional. Now accepting bookings for knackered units requiring TLC. Booked up at the moment though with a poorly Atmos from @8bitbaz. Sent from my HTC U11 using Tapatalk
  3. ST Basic has sold elsewhere. Sent from my HTC U11 using Tapatalk
  4. £5 each or £8 for both plus delivery I prefer payment by PayPal gift or please add appropriate fees. Sent from my HTC U11 using Tapatalk

  6. Hi, Yes it is yours. I will find out about postage and message you back. Regards, Alan. Sent from my HTC U11 using Tapatalk
  7. I have for sale an unused Bitwriter upgrade for the Atari 1050 disk drive. This upgrade allows duplication of original protected disks. It also acts as a speed upgrade making it like the happy. I would like £35 to include UK delivery. Please as about international postage. Payment via PayPal gift preferred or please add appropriate fees. Also for sale elsewhere. 9. I have! But I keep coming up with elaborate ways to extend the lack of space! Sent from my Harrier from EE using Tapatalk
  10. I worry that my 'hobby' is just an obsession. I have 15 systems and 'need' more. At what point though does it become just an obsession? I have to say a lot of the time I don't even enjoy the stuff I am doing! I find it stressful lol. I have a decent excuse that I share this passion with young students where I have setup a retro game group but without that I really have no excuse! Sent from my Harrier from EE using Tapatalk
  11. Hi, I recently got my hands on a set of paddles and I am attempting to connect then to an arduino board. I have a Pro Micro which can run the library created by MHeironimus here : https://github.com/MHeironimus/ArduinoJoystickLibrary So now I have my paddles I am up a creek. I have the libraries I need to connect them to my Pro Micro Arduino board but there is part of the sketch code that mentions how to give 5v to the pots inside the paddles. It mentions also adding 1M ohm resistors (I have these), but I can't fathom where I connect them. Please see below exert from the code supplied by Nondeclume at https://github.com/nomdeclume/AtariJoysticksPlus .If someone understands how these paddles function natively in the the Atari wild then I reckon they will be able to explain where I should put them (clean answers only please)... <Code Exert Begin > Paddle potentiometer is rated as 1M Ohm, linear. One end is connected to the +5V power supply (pin 7). Full right is 0 Ohm. Full left should nominally be 1 Mega-Ohm, but I have measured 760K Ohm on one paddle and 900K Ohm on another. To get both the paddles and fire button B working (pin 9 shorted to ground/pins 5 and 9 shorted), we use the following schematic: +5V --- R1A --- joystick pin 9 --- |--- R2A --- GND (paddle A) | |--- R3 --- S1 = +5V/not connected (pin joyFuncPins[?][fireB_pullup] on Arduino) | analog tap A (pin joyFuncPins[?][paddleA_pot] on Arduino) +5V --- R1B --- joystick pin 5 --- |--- R2B --- GND (paddle B) | analog tap B (pin joyFuncPins[?][paddleB_pot] on Arduino) <End> Can anyone decipher what this means? Does it want me to connect the resistor in between the 5v line and the Pin 7 of the 9 pin DSUB ? If so where do the other two resistors go? I am confused. Thanks in advance peeps, Robofruit.
  12. Difference is the next is not saying 'we will release next sept' then missing it, then 'oh sorry screwed that up it will be 6 months time's etc etc verbatim. Sent from my Harrier from EE using Tapatalk
  13. To be fair to the Spectrum Next they are taking things very slowly and it looks like they will not launch until it is all right. Unlike others that just seem will never get there, such as the StarForce Pi that has constantly missed its release targets. Sent from my Harrier from EE using Tapatalk
