I lost the link to see the trending website for this project. Can someone re-post? I've been away a few days and was shocked to see the train is STILL crashing. I went out and bought a Retron 5 since I can't seem to find my original Genesis. I'm done with their garbage and just want to have some popcorn and watch the burning train fall off the bridge into the river in slow motion. The only good thing about this disaster is it's opened my eyes to people making new retro games and some new sites to find out what's going on with Retro. Fingers crossed someone will actually make a system like we were promised.

Hi all! I've been away from videogames since the kids were born, but I'm kicking around a return. I have parts of the 2600, Collecovision, Playstation 1, and I have a Genesis, somewhere (currently MIA). I have all or at least most of my old carts from these systems. I'm looking for the best way to get going again using what I have. I WAS thinking the Retro VGS, but that's a train crashing off the cliff in slow motion. How about the Retron 5? Or, am I better off trying to chase original controllers down for my original systems? What's the best place to start?

First post here. Neat forums, BTW... I'll be asking questions elsewhere about getting into Retro Gaming. Just had to say thanks to all you guys who put up the solid info to stop my fool A$$ from plunking down $400 on this train wreck. I'm really disappointed. If this system would have delivered, it would have been a great one stop shop for me to get my old carts out and maybe enjoy some cool new ones. I hope they wake up and alter course before the iceberg hits. We'll see........
