Just like I do. I´ve never owned a PS, and now that it´s dead, I´ve been thinking in getting one

I´ve playing for 6 months almost only DC (my newest system). Before that, it wa all Snes and below.

I played the game for the first time 2 years ago, and I really love it! It´s a pretty complex and deep game for a 2600, and it´s easy to appreciate the effort they made in 1980!

1- Adventure (because you need a game with depth, and the randomize option makes it very replayable) 2- Jr. Pac-Man (try to master it! It will take you a long time!) 3- California Games (I was going to say BMX Airmaster, but you can´t go wrong with 4 games in 1! And most of them could be stand-alone games...) 4- A shooter, either River Raid, Asteroids or Solaris, whatever style suits you more 5- Another tough choice. Video Chess or Othello could be a good one if you like to think. If you like more mindless but fast action, you can go with Kaboom or Midnight Magic. I´ve tried to choose very different (but replayable games). That way, you´re sure you´d enjoy at least one of them any time and you won´t get bored easily. PD: Another good choices would be Pitfall 1 or 2, but you can master them and you´ll get bored because they`re always the same.

I´d say the best portable version is the GameGear one. As for the other ones, probably the fourth one is the best.

Yes, there are too many Mario games up there. They´re good, but come on, leave some spots for other games. What about Sonic 2, for example?

I´ve finished it many times without losing a single life, and 4 months ago, I did a marathon. Finished the game 8 times in a row, getting more than 5,000,000 points.

1020 Crappy score for me! I didn´t even understand what I was doing until the last life. Tip: You can move the Spectron while firing, that changes the angle of the shoot and gives you more chances of hit the enemies. Tip: Concentrate on destroying first one Morphul Ship, and then the 2 Morphul Warrior it releases after being hit, and then, go to the next Morphul Ship. That way is a lot easier than having to take care of 6 Morphul Warriors who attack you at once!

That game was a pack-in (at least it was on Spain). It has an Out Run-like game, a (pretty good) tennis game, a soccer game where you shot penalties and Columns 2.

70 games. Not bad, considering it´s 1/4 of the carts released on Spain and that they aren´t as cheap or easy to find as on the USA.

I could not finish Tomboy, as it seems you can´t use the underground passages.

That´s what PCAEWIN says (I play it on the real cart ) Seriously, it amazes me how Atari 2600 games were so small. Adventure only has 4k, and is one of the deepest games on its library. Later games, with only 16k, are also very impressive, like BMX Airmaster, Solaris or Jr. Pac-Man.
