  1. This is your best Knight yet! When I got to the rolling TNT I just shook my head….. this coulda sold some consoles back in the day
  2. Awesome news! So I extract the rom to play on my Open Emu too?
  3. This is one of my all-time favorite series. Love this new one! (Hey, on Knight Guy Quest I keep getting stuck at the wall "YOU ARE NOT STRONG ENOUGH" - any tips?)
  4. KK works on Open Emu, no luck with ARTI. Yellow screen. An earlier version would work a few screens before getting stuck.
  5. I'd love to see a Megamania 2, official or hacked up to imagine what the next level might be. I like all the games mentioned above but none nearly as much as Megamania. Those falling dice! Uniwars also has that Megamania flavor. Sort of.
  6. Love megamania and all the hacks / variations. Would love to see the 7800 Astro Blaster hacked up more like Megamania. The laser overheats too easy.
  7. As sequels go, I love Blasteroids. Is Xenophobe underrated? Love it -- if only someone would hack it to play full screen instead of that tiny upper third. (Lynx is full screen, I think, but not the same) Pac & Pal feels like the truest Pac Man follow-up to me, similar but new enough to be different. Krull? Pitfall II for arcade is cool too.
  8. Let's take a poll. I loved HERO & have played it on every system it was released for. Love the SG-1000. Coleco too. I'd love to see a quality hack or sequel. How much would you pay for just the ROM? I'll say $7. Five seems low and ten a bit high, but if there were a teaser ROM of the first three levels and it was awesome, sure. Ten bucks.
  9. Love the two button fix for Atari games -- is there a way to make titles rapid fire or double shot ala Space Invaders fry? Atlantis, Asteroids, Beamrider, Missile Command, River Raid, Yars Revenge . . . that would freshen up a lot of old games. And new, like Juno First....
  10. Champ? Audacity? Atari Age? I guess? I get the theory of rewarding hard work, just trying to think of the sweet spot that's realistic. If the demo plays as good as it looks - what full-rom price would work for both programmer & consumer? Not the collector. Just someone who wants a new game to play. I wonder how Champ does with their $20 roms.
  11. Agreed with $10 - $15. The new Zarkstars looks great but unless I could try it I wouldn't pay $20. But for $10 or $15? Yeah, probably. Same with Casey's Gold. Anything from a proven company, okay charge more. As a kid, Appetite for Destruction cost the same as Wang Chung. One was worth way more than list price, the other, perhaps less. That may not be the best allegory.
  12. what a great place to hide bootleg roms
  13. No worries, it was a joy to go back through. Jenny, Jenny, I got your number....
  14. Uh-oh, I got to the boss but didn't keep my three number code from the computers. Am I screwed? This game / series is awesome. Much appreciate your hard work and willingness to share it!
