  1. Are you referring to the Memory Card for the CD expansion? I didn't think that really expanded on the system capabilities, and it doesn't help cartridge cartridge games any to my knowledge. Was just kind of an idea that popped into my head is all...was thinking more like a Game Genie or Game Shark kind of plug-in that could be useful for future developments.

  2. Someone posted a thread about turning a Genesis (?) controller into a jag rotary. He posted a video and was going to post more details on the conversion. To me, that would be the best way to get a rotary on the jag, without having to mod a jag controller.

EDIT: Post in question is here.

That'd be pretty awesome! Even better, it's a lot easier to get a six-button Genesis controller and modify that than buy one of the Pro Controllers for the Jaguar.

  3. I assume everybody remembers the Expansion Pak for the N64 which enabled it to play more advanced titles like Donkey Kong 64 and Majora's Mask as well as unlock gameplay elements in other games such as Perfect Dark and Starcraft 64. Out of curiosity, does such a thing exist for the Jaguar, and if not, is it something feasible or worthwhile to develop? I ask this underestanding that there is already a CD attachment which expands the capabilities of the Jaguar, but even that seems to have its own limitations, and I'm one of those weirdos that just loves having a plastic cartridge to pull off the shelf every now and then. I've just wondered if any of the homebrews have been held back by the system's memory limitations and if such a thing could alleviate that. Forgive my lack of technical expertise if this is a stupid question!

  4. Good god, I want one of these so badly. Top-down shooters (Raiden, 1942, 1943, Xevious, Silpheed, etc.) have always been one of my favorite genres. If/when a cartridge is released for Xenon, any idea what it might cost? Also, is there any kind of crowdsource funding for the development community to help generate new games that I should know about? I'm still edging my way into the greater Jaguar community, and it's fascinating how people are still running with the system.

  5. I'd like to get a copy of Air Cars just to fill out my collection, but more concerned with games I might actually want to play. Just got a copy of Power Drive Rally CIB on eBay, and that pushes me to 40 cartridge games total, all CIB, plus about ten CD games.
