So I just bought Defender 2000 and something odd....
Trooper Galactus replied to Scorponok's topic in Atari Jaguar
I'd say high probability it's a custom case done by a collector or a rental store that liked the games to look really pimp on their shelves. -
If I'd bought Trevor McFur off the shelf all those years ago I would have been pissed. I love shmups but that game just pisses me off. I might not have been super into Dino Dudes, but I think I would have taken the time to figure it out and enjoyed it in the end as something different, fun, and challenging. Cybermorph would have been frustrating maybe, but again, given a chance to spend time learning the nuances of the game I think I'd have liked it just fine. Would have loved Raiden back then, still love it now. And I think I screwed up my votes and put Dino Dudes first and Raiden third instead of the other way around. My bad.

I have an Arkanoid arcade cocktail table. Don't play it much, but definitely a great game! However, my favorite ever rotary controller game is definitely Warlords, which I have the two player arcade console for as well as multiple 2600 copies of. If somebody made a Warlords 2000 cart with rotary controller capability, I'd be all over that in a hot minute!

#262 just got mine in the mail!
-
Could be! Of course, while the supply is low, it's doubtful demand will rise much given how niche an interest market the Jaguar is.
-
I'll probably pick up a copy at some point. Thanks.
-
Does B2K work with a rotary controller? Seems like a good candidate for it.
-
Those are second run carts, right? I thought there was a preceding version that was stupid expensive.
-
For a moment I thought you got Primal Rage for a steal of a price, then realized you probably only got the disc, so that's about right, I guess.

A copy of the original Battlesphere just sold on eBay for over $650. Good luck finding one, because I've pretty much given up hope of ever owning that or AirCars.
-
Better start that cartridge pre-order list now...
-
Almost $800 for Battlesphere Gold on Ebay?
Trooper Galactus replied to JaguarBrett's topic in Atari Jaguar
I had bid on that one, but I stopped at about $600. I might have been a bit more aggressive had I more money available, but was only gonna jump on it if I thought I could nab it for a relatively reasonable price. Almost never see them for sale these days. -
Lazy!

Never had occasion to open my sealed copy of WMCJ, and I got that for thirty bucks with the Team Tap all brand new not too long ago. The Team Tap itself is not really worth much of anything.

Satan?

LOL! It's all good, dude! By the by, was that clip from the one audio submission M.C. Chris? Hard to mistake that voice, but I don't remember what it's from. Guess I'll need to delve into my Sealab 2021 archive...
-
At least he's starting the bidding at a good price. That's less than what it cost me with shipping. On that note, #262 email received the other day, payment sent. Can't wait to get my copy!

I just envision each of their carcasses holding a box from your Jaguar collection.
-
Kinda depends what you've been doing with/to them...
-
Either you're setting a whole new standard for sin or you should get checked for syphilis. ......maybe both?
-
Do you have an eBay site? A lot of those look kinda familiar.

Go to church. Jesus still saves.

Another lovely podcast! Not looking forward to playing Kasumi Ninja for the next one, but I'll gut it out. Just got a rotary controller in the mail too, so maybe I'll add a snippet about playing T2K with it as well! Also, the name is "Galactus", not "Galacticus". lol
-
Is anybody making rotary controllers any more?
Trooper Galactus replied to Trooper Galactus's topic in Atari Jaguar
$130 actually is a lot cheaper than I recall seeing them, though I may be remembering a CIB price. Want to get one of them, but have been focused on rounding out my game collection while they're still available.
