  1. The USA version of the TI-99/4a CAN be connected to TV with scart. The video output for the UK version of the TI-99 is NOT the same as UK/European version. The USA version has an extra pin and the video output is different. The Ti-99/4a power brick has the same voltaqe outputs for both UK and USA versions. So, yes, you can use a UK PSU to power a USA TI-99/4a.
  2. I worked in a UK computer shop from 1979 until early/mid 1992. One of my jobs at the computer shop I worked at, was to evaluate new products including computers. We we offered some of these and although they are unknown in the USA, they are well known, but rather rare now in Europe and rarer in the UK. By the time the DAI appeared on the scene, similar, high performance 'home' computers were established. The nearest UK equivalent would be the Acorn BBC computer with it's 2MHz 6502 and EXCELLENT FAST and highly structured BASIC with built in assembler. Here is a playlist of demo software. https://www.youtube.com/c/hirudov2d/search?query=dai
  3. And handling charges, and import duty and VAT. Everyone has a choice.
  4. I will have three or four available. I am not, however, giving them away.
  5. Well, I would like to test them and make sure that they work ok. I am rather short of space so I need to setup a TV and a table so I can put a machine or four to check. I will only test with a games cartridge as loading for tape is too fiddly. I will try and get one listed today...hopefully.
  6. I am slimming down my TI-99/a collection https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/402781399011 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/402599696937 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/402776740451 There are a bunch of other items. I will have some spare TI-99/4a's too. I just can't keep everything. Stephen

  8. This one might be of use. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/402379025703 and https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/402300086869
  9. I heaps of unwanted educational ti games carts that could be sacrificed. Stephen in North London 07956544202
  10. If you fancy one, and can afford it, then buy one. ti-99's pretty common right now, get a few and upgrade a few. spares are useful. Unless you live in shoebox.
  11. Id be interested in Super Extended Basic (Solid State Cartridge) (With manual )and Mini Memory (With manual and cassette )but I am not going to get into a bidding war, etc.
  12. Look at final selling prices on complete auctions on ebay? Ignore crazy 'Buy-it-now's as they are someone's wet dream as ASKING, is not the same as getting.
  13. Very nice. Looks really professional. Now add WiFi, SD card storage, and Pi Zero 2nd processor....
